Hello Scared but trusting God, chances are very good that you are born again, justified and saved by God if you are trusting Him with your life as your user name seems to indicate (as I've never known an unbeliever who does so).
That said, there are a number of things that can help you determine whether or not you are saved (which is something that every believer is commanded to do, BTW .. e.g.
1. When you think back on your life as an unbeliever and how you lived, what you said, what you thought about, what was most important to you, who was most important to you, etc., and you compare it with your life now (since becoming a believer), is there anything that you can point to that is different about your life, now, in Christ?
2. Here's a list of different kinds of behaviors (see the passage from Galatians below) that the Apostle Paul points out for us. The first ones are generally associated with those who are outside of Christ (v19-21), and the second, of those who are now in Christ (v22-23).
So, my next question for you, as you consider again
a) your life before you were in Christ and
b) your life now, as a believer, is this, would you say that your life is still principally characterized by the kinds of things that are described in
Galatians 5:19-21, or is your new life at least beginning to demonstrate some of the "fruits of the Spirit" that are described in
Galatians 5:22-23?
Galatians 5
19 Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality,
20 idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions,
21 envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
p.s. - here is another, important sign to consider (to help you know whether you are in Christ or not), in this case from pastor and theologian A.W. Pink.
