I have this feeling I should obey this

I decided if I want good I have to choose to do good then I can be healthy as Jesus said not to hide your light under a bushel let it shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. Salt is good but if it has lost its flavour it is good for nothing but to be trampled underfoot by men. It means that if you lose your salt your zeal for the truth others may think they don’t have to be zealous for truth to be zealous to repent

Though I believe that is true we need salt if I can prove prove the truth I am not sure I can be as salty now outside of the church if I can not know for sure if I do not yet be able to prove the truth so I think as many christians do not agree that everyone can be saved and I may doubt the truth as christians do not agree and unfortunately as there are divisions and some in church teach you need it to repent and many teach you need it to be saved or it may be necessary to accept it to be saved then I think I should follow the church it may be it is not true so you should accept jesus as church may make too much burdens and one can not know if he can ever be worthy of being saved

I was born orthodox so I think I should be orthodox as I have not been convinced of catholic and as it may be true I should be orthodox incase you need it if you are born orthodox others can be catholic if they believe in it more now or they can be orthodox if they are more convinced of it or can be but it may be God accepts orthodox who convert to catholic church now and that church never judged anyone while they did not know the truth but only when you know it it is required or if you are able to know now.

So all may be required to join the church and if one practices sin he may lose his opportunity to repent those who are born orthodox if they do not return could risk judgement if they do not return to church so they should while they have opportunity therefore I think I should join church

I think I can not decide what is true and I should leave that to God and join church I can not know what the true teaching of the church is what some say that late repentance is not accepted and if God would accept any who accept the church truly like the repentant thief if they have opportunity even without sacraments but I think I should make sure I am seeking fellowship with God with sacraments and in church to learn how I can serve Him in some way and leave that to God I feel I should go to church because maybe if I do and take sacraments I can have knowledge of truth but even if not I should accept it incase but I do not know if what church teaches now is right that they would have really condemned those who convert to Catholic who do not know they may not have condemned anyone who do not know but I have to accept as maybe true what church teaches now that they need to be in Orthodox Church as it is true and they should not leave what is true

I decided it is not wise to follow Orthodox Church as it is not as profitable to be a disciple I know more so I should use it to be more profitable to save souls though I could be saved as I would only need to serve with talents God gave me by fellowship in a good church I can learn to be a really good disciple to be able to know how to reach others

Thankyou for sharing it is just that I feel discouraged to serve God if I am not given direction but I feel I have to seek Him more I feel discouraged and blame leaving church for my own fault of not reading bible as much anymore so overtime because I stopped reading bible as much and to pray I no longer was able to see God will for my life to help serve Him

I also would not follow the orthodox church as I am more convinced now only Jesus taught the full truth and Jesus and the apostles church was not divided and it stumbles others to judge and may make others without hope of being saved because it teaches you need to confess all your sins to be saved to be free of all sins but you can not know all sins or be free of all sins to be perfect that is why Jesus came. That is why Jesus said all sins will be forgiven only blasphemy of the Spirit will not be forgiven because it convicts one that one needs to believe in Jesus because He is the truth and shows people that they are not without sin and He is the fulfillment of law as no one ever kept the law and so no one ever got to heaven trusting in his own righteousness as making one worthy of salvation but the law and prophets spoke about atonement God would provide and one does not need to be without sin to know if he is perfect keeping every law but the Spirit will convict everyone of all sins that one knows he is commiting to seek Jesus for forgiveness and to forsake it to turn from it as he has opportunity

Unfortunately the bible does seem to teach the need to have repented before you die it makes me question if everyone can be saved so I don’t want to teach for sure you can if I don’t know some may repent at the end and be saved at the eleventh hour to have found the way to life before they die

The bible says you need to work atleast one hour that is to have repented which includes watching and having fulfilled all commandments not burying your talents but to confess Christ and to work for Him one hour atleast that is having been able to fullfill all commandments in one hour doing His will

I think one commandment that was given was baptism so it may be required communion was also given so it may be required for repentance only God knows if it is not required and only baptism is required so they should be done

Unfortunately as I don’t know there is salvation outside the church though there may be I think I should join the church that repentance may only be possible in the church

I know church history shows that the Catholic Church existed early on but I’m not sure it was from the beginning so I will be orthodox I think it may be the church never judged converts to catholic who did not know the truth so I don’t know I should join the church as it seems there is a risk if Catholic is not true I could not be saved but only God knows if church really judges them

Only God knows if people outside the church are saved but I think it is right to join church as we do not know if there is salvation outside the church

I think I should return to church just in case because others may not prove truth
there may still be hope for a person if he has opportunity if he has heard of the church to accept it if God will accept the person if they have no opportunity to see a priest but I can not know what the church teaching is maybe if I go to church I can know but otherwise it is up to God to know but I should seek to make sure I myself go to church

From hearing other church people I thought maybe one should follow this incase it is right though I do not believe this myself I do not think it is right that a virgin can not marry a non virgin though one should only if person is repentant

We have to assume you need the church a Coptic person should marry a Coptic person

There is repentance available a non Coptic who marries a Coptic has to follow Coptic church unless one was Catholic but it should not be done because of difficulties but because orthodox may be true Coptic should not convert to Catholic Church

It is not good for a virgin in most cases to marry a non virgin because you don’t know if they repented and you may not help it they should ideally not get married but focus on repentance but if they do marry they should marry a non virgin but they should not marry in church to have blessing of church to acknowledge the marriage as being not just between them but also being united to bridegroom Jesus on earth they should not marry in church but they can still go to church and God can acknowledge their marriage in heaven as being also with God if they are repentant

A Protestant should marry outside the church but individually should go to Orthodox or Catholic Church the one they are convinced is true and encourage spouse to go to church but it is all decisions for themselves

It may be sacraments are necessary to make a person be able to repent and people have to seek it while they have chance or perhaps salvation is open to everyone if he has opportunity to repent to just accept the church if they have heard about it

Maybe a person is in a saved state if he went to confession and had communion that the communion would always enlighten one about one sins that he needs to seek to confess if he has opportunity so I should follow the church incase but it may be God does not require people to seek to go to confession but He will always accept a person repentance if he has opportunity to repent

I think it is not true and I think God wants me to trust Him because bible says God mercy endures forever as long as one has breath he can repent I will follow the below

I believe God accepts everyone repentance everyone who repents has a chance to enter kingdom if he has opportunity to repent He accepts everyone repentance to last moment that he can repent if He did not come as a thief if one did not repent only after he is punished where he knows death will follow in seconds or minutes

If people will repent they have the right to enter heaven they are as the wise virgins because they repented as they had chance but I don’t believe everyone enters kingdom on death straightaway they could be destined for heaven but still need to be chastened because they did not obey command they were supposed so they we’re not sanctified and ready to enter kingdom as I believe some are saved in world to come I believe the unbaptized are not saved straight away and communion may be important too but I think maybe if they did not use their talents to confess Him and to preach they won’t enter heaven on death they won’t have any reward it is also a command to confess Him not just use talents to help that it is a command to preach so there is a risk if you will be punished and if one denies Christ one could be punished without opportunity to repent so one must not deny Christ because one could be killed and will not have opportunity to repent.
Or it may be if you don’t use talents you may be punished you risk it but if you are not punished it means God gave you opportunity to repent that you can be saved because you believed burying your talent means you knew about Christ but you did not want to tell anyone about it purposely but if you repented and believed and repented God will forgive if He gave opportunity to repent if person believed in Christ in his last breath not being punished knowing he will die in few moments God did not punish to come as thief

It does not help to support divisions people don’t need the church they need Jesus do you really think God cares about one church church saints are not gods they are not perfect they do not perfectly represent God if they were really saints it is because they followed Jesus according to their knowledge. I don’t believe if they appear they would support divisions. Devil does and we know devil can appear as angel of light to mislead

I wrote that but anyway I don’t believe you should even trust any apparition because God does not send any unless there is a need as He wants people to be guided by the word of God but if there is one it would take you to heaven and people have authority over evil spirits to speak the word of God to call to God to show you truth devil can take you to mountain even but he can not resist person quoting word of God and person calling on God to show truth

I was thinking to follow church because others may doubt me but I believe I am following truth if they are not convinced they can follow the church but I don’t think I should follow the church as I can not grow to be a very helpful disciple I should try to grow in my faith to be a more helpful disciple and reach out to others so I won’t. I will not follow church as I am convinced it is not the truth and people need to hear the gospel to win them to Christ because it is not promised for anyone that if he does not turn now that he will have opportunity to turn later maybe especially those who are living in sin really need to hear the gospel to repent and to encourage them to be commited to faith as well as Christians if we are not commited to faith because we need to be commited to following Christ because if one is not following Christ now one may not get opportunity to repent if one was not repenting and he died suddenly or within moments it would be too late as many of those who lived in sin who did not commit to Christ did not get opportunity to repent.

I was thinking to get an exorcism to know truth but now I realise it is a mistake and I will not for I will not be curious any more of any churches to be carried away with every wind of doctrine which is the enemy of the gospel

I believe the sabbath was given for man to help him it was chosen day but when Jesus made the new covenant it was replaced and the chosen day given was Sunday though all days are alike and not necessary but it is chosen day to show Jesus is the cause of our eternal rest and salvation of our souls though I don’t believe it is mandatory as Paul said we should not judge any by day people observe some may think still they should observe it that it carries a blessing they can but it is not a law people have to observe to be saved but it could be mark of the beast if Sunday worship is forced if it persecuted those who worship on other days or don’t keep Sunday worship as it should not be forced.


The bible says if any one adds or takes away from the word God will take away his part from the holy city therefore we should not add to word of God to judge those who think they should keep a law if they think it has a blessing but it does not justify one by keeping the law

Paul says in Romans 14:5-7

5 One person esteems one day above another; another esteems every day alike. Let each be fully convinced in his own mind. 6 He who observes the day, observes it to the Lord; and he who does not observe the day, to the Lord he does not observe it...

Paul though showed the foolishness of those who fell from grace to believe they need to keep the law He is not judging them if they think they need to keep a law but to think it matters not whether one believed in Christ even if they believed He was the truth but they thought Christ justifies those who achieve perfection that they could in the old law as though they are justified because of their works that they needed to keep the old law to be perfect that they accepted Christ as God but fell away from their true faith in Him forgetting why He came and denying the need for Him to come by believing everyone only needed to be perfect according to the old law that they could be perfect according to it

people should keep all laws God has taught is necessary I believe baptism and communion are important to be saved on death to be united to God now but I don’t believe they are necessary to be saved as I believe Paul said we are justified not of works and I believe God wants me to trust He is fair I do not believe it is adding to His words as that is altering God words or purposely wanting to deceive others and if I am right I am not adding to His words if my position is right the truth is always just and people must not teach something that could lead to harm revelations shows hell is eternal so we can not say it is not it must be because I don’t believe people who teach it is will not be saved because God does not force people to teach something they can not prove without a doubt it is true

I decided I will not go to have exorcism that God wants me to trust in His justice that He is fair and because He is just He will accept all who believe in Him and follow Him because I do not believe He will judge any who want to repent who can not know the truth as some lived righteous lives who can not know the truth and I don’t believe He would judge them if others do not trust they can seek the church

I think it is wrong to speak for God I do not know if baptism and communion are not required they may be required that without them perhaps you are not guaranteed to have chance to repent later the thief was saved without it as he repented and would have desired to do them I do not know if God would consider one a true believer if one would refuse to desire to do them

Some believe communion is a spiritual thing as Jesus said the words I speak to you are Spirit and they are life but the communion is a time where presence of Christ is specially present for the believers to remember Him that Jesus said when you gather as often as you do communion to remember Him
my dad believes the communion is not to be taken alone to sanctify one that it does not unless you first have relationship with God and spend time with Him and it is given for forgiveness of sins or life but you have to have relationship with Christ first and you don’t have to have it often if you are not prepared but should only be taken if you are prepared I wrote before that he does not believe it is the communion as I could not understand him that he believed it is not the communion that sanctifies but it is body and blood for believers to at that time commune specially with what He did at that time to remember Him because of His body and blood that you take in rememberance of Him He is given to commune spiritually with one specially at that time to remember Him my dad believes it is required to do as it is a command to witness but you don’t have to do it often it may not be required to be saved as Jesus said he who believes and is baptised will be saved but it could be required to be saved on death to be sanctified to continue to have all sins forgiven
But I also don’t know it is not required at all so I think one should also have communion to be sure it may be if you are not baptised and you don’t have communion you risk not having chance to repent to die in your sin so one should always seek to do it as one has chance but if one does and he is not dead if he repents to desire to do so he will be saved

We should do it incase but God may accept if He knows indeed communion was a spiritual thing
but we don’t know so we should do it incase


only God knows people heart if they did not know it is required and only God knows if it is not required

A person if he believes in Jesus will seek to submit to what He says

Baptism is a witness to tell the world you are saved because of Jesus that one believes in Him to do what He says which makes one baptised into Christ to have promises of God because you seek to do what He says

I think people can be saved if they believe and put their trust in Jesus and one is considered a believer by choosing to believe even if he thinks he may not be a believer because he wonders about certain prophecies such as that Moses said God would send a prophet like him and he wonders why it was mentioned prophet and not God but you can choose to believe as we know there are prophecies that speak of messiah being God such as psalm 45 him not being a son of men and it is said that people worship him as Daniel also says one like the Son of Man meaning he was not originally a man is given a kingdom that all should serve Him and we know only God is served and suffering servant who can atone for people sin and psalm 22 refers to people turning to God because of God saving one which was fulfilled in Jesus when others could not persuade him to come down from cross and when God made an earthquake and split temple in two and them not being able to defeat Him as fraud by proving He was not resurrected

but incase you need to have full faith to be able to comprehend why they say prophet like Moses you are confused about if that is possible I seek to join the church and also incase it is necessary to
be saved

I know Jesus is prophet like Moses like this site shows but I wonder why they just said prophet not God Paul said mystery was hidden in other ages I wonder was it hidden to most Jews but not to all I wonder why is that what Jesus meant by many prophets and righteous men desired to see what you see and did not see it or that they wanted to see messiah ?

I thought to do below but I decided I would follow the church incase that it is better to

I can not know if there is salvation outside the church if it is required to confess your sins and have communion to ensure you are in a saved state before you die to be fully living in Christ assuming it is necessary that if you don’t do it you may die unexpectedly and not have chance to repent later


I didn’t believe you need to confess your sins but I suppose I should if one can argue if you don’t you risk judgement you risk lack of chance to repent later

I will therefore seek to return to Orthodox Church and confess my sins and go to Catholic Church just in case it can prove I believe divisions could be political but as one does not know one should be in church he most believes is right Orthodox Church may teach if you were orthodox you need to be orthodox and that Protestants and Catholics only need to be Orthodox if it had been shown them it is the truth or if they can know it is true as they seek the church and as they enquire

I believe other Christians might be saved but one should join the church incase

I think it is a mistake to doubt that God may not accept a person faith in Him alone all that is required is to believe and put your trust in Christ to surrender to Him your life what is left because if you don’t you may not get opportunity to do so later. I believe God will accept anyone who believes in Him and follows Him.
