Materialism doesn't NEED to be in the Bible because matter is all we know for sure. The burden of proof falls on those who make extraordinary claims.
There is hard evidence in the Bible that God used material dynamics to do miracles. Here's one example (and I can provide several more): how did the Red Sea divide? Instantly, by magic? Or gradually, by material dynamics? The latter. A strong wind blew over the course of - an entire evening! Turns out it was the divine Wind/Breath (the Third Person):

8By the blast of your nostrils the waters piled up....
10But you blew with your breath [ruach], and the sea covered them." (Ex 15).
There is NO hard evidence in Scripture for the fairytale/fantasy known as immaterialism.
