They could have just said, "Each year on Easter." What would be the point of doing it deliberately and then making it so subtle hardly anyone noticed?

I suspect people and have done things on Easters that have been just as repugnant to the Lord...including people who call themselves Christians.

The specific things unsaved people do are not particularly relevant. Unless they come to belief and repentance, they're still going to the same hell they'd go to if they didn't do those things. It's not the things they do that condemn them, it's their unbelief that condemns them.

There is a distinction between sinning in private or public VS making it a federal day of recognition on a date that will coincide again in the future with Easter and or Easter season, why in March at all, ever??

As for these folks, it DOES NOT HELP THEM to have recognition whatsoever for this.
I am praying fervently for a 'woke, trans gay guy' I have known since middle school.

He is trying to transform to Christian life but the more recognition this crap has, the less he desires celibacy.
Now he wants a Unitarian Church who accepts gays.

He was willing to be celibate, and turn to a life of prayer.

BUT he is bombarded with secular society pulling him towards 'apathy' and he even asked me, because he is opening up to the spiritual warfare, what he heard within was 'the second death is not so bad...'

He had no clue what that meant and I told him.
He also had recently left 'wiccan and all that witchcraft' stuff.


WOKE is not good, making it a national day is only SHOVING THE STRUGGLING PEOPLE into the abyss.
