Trumps accomplishment to me are incredible considering the lack of help he had from both parties fighting his own for probably close to half his term as they had bought into the narrative he was going to act like a leftist etc.
The people who like Trump realize his accomplishments those typically who don't greatly downplay them IMO he deserved a prize for his peace initiative but I'm glad he didn't get the liberal peace prize for the nobility.
The Nobility?

I know you think he deserved the Prize... He thought he deserved it, too.

Making a public show of nominating him for it was the quickest and easiest way to gain his favor.

Not really, to be honest I don't really think he put a lot into thinking about getting one. IMO the only thing good about the prize is the money itself as the award is just IMO a way to acknowledge leftist idols.

I feel like Bernie could have got the nomination and Republicans would STILL say "well he's just as bad as Trump at lying". I mean, if facts are irrelevant anyways.

of course they would have -- Donald is indefensible, so the only alternative is to drag everyone else down to his level.

It sort of reminds me of some people when it comes to sports, they complain about anything and everything the other team does and blame the referees when they lose but since the D's have decided they are the referees then they are having to blame the other team instead of stepping up and winning they are essentially blaming for their loss. I gave up on what politicians say when Bush 2 caved to leftist pressure. I stopped watching political news other than to get an idea who is running for what office prior to elections because it became worse than a reality show where the 8 legged woman got pregnant with 6 kids from 8 guys and they were trying to sort things out and blame an octopus for it all. I voted for Trump not because he was the best or anything because he wasn't a dyed in the wool republican and I chuckled at his barbs at the leftists and their reaction. I figured he was a genius goat herder as he had gotten goats enough for a lifetime during his campaign.
When Trump was elected, I said to my wife, "Well, the good news is that Hillary lost. The bad news is that Trump won." I saw him as a lying chameleon. But then he started doing stuff. I discovered his natural color, and I LOVE it.

And yeah, I left the uniparty when Dubya showed HIS true color.

Funny you mention refs. My daughter was on the varsity girl's basketball team in high school. I never cared if they won or lost. However, sometimes it WAS infuriating when I felt like their primary competition in the game was the refs. That's when I DID care. It ruined the integrity of the game and actually made the players irrelevant.

I am a conservative that voted in Seattle for 41 years. I rarely picked the winning side. I lost a lot and took it in stride. But this election was different. It was stolen in broad daylight. And for me, the problem is not that Trump lost. It is that our election integrity was destroyed, making the voters irrelevant. That's a problem no matter WHO "wins" the election. In fact, it's not just a problem. It is quite literally the end of the republic. If this is not fixed before 2022 the US is a dead country walking.

To be clear. With no powerful evidence strong enough to sway the courts, Democrats were able to destroy America.

Geez. How weak and feckless is your America if people's imagination can bring it down?

It was such a vast conspiracy that a majority of the voters were in on it, including a number of Republicans. In fact, the vast conspiracy was so vast and involved so many people that they could have gotten Biden in just by voting for him... Wait! Maybe that's how they pulled it off! How sneaky and underhanded of those evil Democrats.

Sadly I mostly agree with you. I've sort of seen this coming for decades myself but the ramping up this "session" of the left is way over the top. I feel that this is absolutely the tipping point and without God's help, and help that will require miracles that will be unbelievable by most we won't ever recover from this as a country. I think you can imagine what will occur next. When you beat a dog over and over and back him in a corner either he has to submit or he gets very mean.

tl;dr -- the Democrats are a threat to the United States that nothing short of God (or a divinely appointed messiah of His choosing) can save it from.

Meaner than January 6?

I doubt any one person other than Jesus himself can manage the upcoming mess being created. Trump reelected would be a start but EO's cannot fix but a fraction of what is going on now. At best it would be like putting a bandaid on a bleeding carotid artery.

Nope..... meaner than BLM last year.

Hmm... a crisis even Donald can't fix? America in trouble he can't save it from?

Wow... and after he went through all the trouble saving you from Obama...

At best it would be like putting a bandaid on a bleeding carotid artery.

Or drinking disinfectant to cure COVID.

Nope..... meaner than BLM last year.

I see -- meaner than BLM but not meaner than January 6.

I can see how that's backed into a pretty serious corner...

BLM all last year compared to Jan 6 is like WW2 compared to two preschool kids in a slap fest.

While I can certainly agree with the 1/6 rioters being compared to preschool kids, I'm still not seeing the whole "less than 2 months post-Donald and America is officially doomed" angle... but I suppose I'm not the target audience.

You need to consider "rioter" total hours, that is the amount of total hours rioting for all involved in all riots added together. If you add up the BLM riot lengths times the number of protesters in each riot throughout the year and the amount of hours in the Jan 6 riot times the amount of protestors you will likely end up with a difference on the scale of several powers of 10 for the BLM vs Jan 6.

The danger is so great, Biden needs to do what Trump would do...get on the toilet right now and tweet about how great he is, and how bad everyone who criticizes him is.

I would think we would have to measure intent as well... Unless you have some secret evidence you're sitting on, none of the BLM riots were intentional.

We know for a fact that January 6 was planned in advance.

Intent is mind reading IMO, you cannot convict people in court on intent when they don't follow through on it. You can be convicted of crimes regardless of intent as intent is mostly used when it comes to punishment. People who don't intend to kill people but their reckless actions culminate in death can be charged with manslaughter. People who intent to kill someone but only hurt them and the hurt is rather minimal often aren't charged with a crime but can be sued for damages. If you go to a large protest and you goad police officers and throw stuff at them and burn buildings and threaten innocent bystanders then your intent isn't to protest but to intimidate and when intimidation is pushed too far you end up with a riot. BLM is a group that specializes in extreme intimidation and that puts them in the category for great risk of violence. If BLM "protests" were instead Trump supporters protesting in those cities they would all be criminally prosecuted for even the smallest crime.
