AMEN. I drink coffee not for me, but for those around me!

The Spirit, as Jesus stated, speaks only what He hears. So Jesus has not informed me to stop drinking coffee.
The root that causes one to be unclean springs from the heart of a person not by what they eat or drink.
17“Don’t you see that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and then out of the body? 18But the things that come out of a person’s mouth come from the heart, and these defile them. 19For out of the heart come evil thoughts—murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander.
Wow... ...amazing... I think the end is right around the corner...I am just curious if anyone has been convicted by the Holy Spirit against drinking coffee.
I know God allows some things in people's lives and not in others so I am just curious about your relationship with coffee.
God Bless.
The elixir made from coffee beans does in fact have a long history in Islamic regions. African tribes mixed the crushed beans with animal fat and molded them into balls to eat as a stimulant before battle.
The Holy Spirit has convicted me of drinking any sort of caffeine, including coffee. Does this mean caffeine or coffee by nature is bad? Of course not. Again, Romans 14 is clear.
I am sorry if my original post was misinterpreted. God allows some things in people's lives and others he does not. The same exact thing. Romans 14 is clear on this.

The original intent was to see just how many people have had the same conviction.
EEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWW
Jesus made wine and authorized the serving of it as His first miracle. Alcohol is not forbidden though drunkenness is rebuked. "Moderation" That said I don't drink but my faith would allow me to. Its easier for my to not drink then to drink in moderation. While caffeine is considered a drug its effects don't cause erratic behavior or uninhibited behavior or loss of control in regard to drinking coffee. I'm on my third cup as a write this and feel normal.True what you say. I would refer you to Romans 14 as well though. Some would argue coffee is a drug. I am to abstain from alcohol as well. God Bless if these are allowed in your life.
