I'm surprised so many would trust this vaccine. I am not one to usually get vaccines in general. Only one I have ever been ok with is the Tetanus Shot. I think it is more of a wish to get back to normal then anything for people. Which I really don't see us going back to normal or what was normal anyway. I would like to know what is even in this vaccine. Interesting we can be very worried about what is in our food. But not a vaccine.

And this is especially true if you choose to trust in man and medicine, and not God.

But I am not one to blame any one after a death...... I would only show compassion, knowing that everyone is only doing what they believe right in their heart. The blaming, I will leave to you, and those who take pleasure in doing so.

No, it does not say that.
Irrespective of whether Alex Jones is a reliable source of information, the "article" itself does not say that this vaccine is spreading HIV, only that it causes false positives for HIV. However, the article's headline is deceptive and false, and contradicts its own text.

The Australian vaccine does not spread HIV.

Or the Australian Government announcement about the The University of Queensland Covid vaccine candidate, and why further development has been stopped:

"...potential to interfere with some HIV screening tests that look for these antibodies – leading to a false positive test result."

There are several different vaccines being developed and tested, and at different stages. There is no suggestion that the problems faced by this vaccine will affect other candidate vaccines.

This is just a vague claim that you distrust this vaccine. It is your right to think this way and it is your right to not take the vaccine. But, I believe, it is also the right of all sorts of institutions - stores, movie theaters, schools, public buildings - to deny you admittance.

In other words, we have the right to be irresponsible about our own health, but we do not have the right to put others at risk.

Wherever there have been mask mandates there will be vaccine mandates. This isn't surprising. Many vaccines have been mandated for a long time. My family and I don't vaccinate at all so we will not be getting the COVID vaccine. I'm always a little confused as to why this is such a problem for public health. Help me understand. Perhaps there are cases of individuals who cannot get the vaccine due to existing health issues where not getting vaccinated you may be putting these people at risk. I'm not condemning you but this might be part of the conversation.

Who actually needs the vaccine ? Is the recovery rate for all 99%? If it is not for some how can we tell them not to get the vaccine ? If the vaccine is harmful for some they should not get it

I may be putting them at risk but this assumes a number of things that we don't know about:

1. We are assuming that I'll get the virus in a post-COVID world where more and more people are getting vaccinated. Let's be generous and say there's a 30% chance of this.

2. We are assuming that I'll be in some significant contact with people who can't get vaccinated at the same time that I am contagious. Let's be generous and say there's a 10% chance of this.

3. We are assuming that unvaccinated people pose the same risk as vaccinated people. In other words, we are assuming that vaccinated people cannot pass on the virus to others. We don't yet know this about the COVID vaccine. Let's assume there's a 50% chance of this since we don't know either way.

4. We are assuming that the person whom I might possibly infect, given the probability of the above three assumptions, would be one of those 1% of the population that gets seriously ill from COVID. There's a 1% chance of this.

What's the probability of those four stars aligning? That would be a .01% chance.

We don't know whether any of the vaccines here or coming (17 to date within the next year) will prevent infection vx disease.

Ones like the Aussie vaccine that caused false positives for the HIV test will be rejected out of hand.

Others like the successful Novovax vaccine are currently working on improvements and additions. (Second generation Vaccines)

Various true side effects instead of the imagined ones grabbing headlines will be found...but they won't be the ones currently making headlines. (Which are ridiculous)

These are Vaccines... certain side effects are expected to be possible but not certain.

It would seem by now they would know who is most at risk being those with existing lung or heart conditions seemingly the most predominant. Anyone else can get sick as we all have at one time or another and fight it off handily. Is the fear out there dying or just of getting sick as 99% do? Is the vaccine necessary for the 99% ? Vaccinate the 1% and health care workers and let nature take it's course for the rest... providing nature produced the virus in the first place.

btw As for the leaders taking shots to show how safe it is, let them wait for the batches for the common folks.

the economy needs it. there may be a high recovery rate but it also tends to overwhelm hospitals and high restrictions are in place to slow down the spread. why slow it down? to prevent overwhelmed hospitals (it keeps circling back to that). hospitals running beyond capacity are limited in their ability to help and are a problem that needs to deal with (and the answer isn't just to build more hospitals). restrictions are imposed to keep the numbers at manageable levels but this isn't working and it's too slow. vaccines are going to keep people out of hospitals which will bring them back to a healthy operating level, which will reduce restrictions until eventually society can return back to where it was.
