It's amazing how with in the same jurisdiction or even a single parish you can find some of the most pious, kind, loving and true Orthodox Christians, yet with in that very same jurisdiction or parish also have some of the most worldly, fake and truly wicked people that you have ever met.

It's really bizarre.

Just remember: the jurisdiction you’re in now could be the ‘wrong’ but later be ‘right’ depending on the situation.

What’re you going to do, hop jurisdictions depending on where the winds take you?

No, but the Antiochian parish that I visited didn't seem to have the obvious problems and stuff that I've encountered at the Greek parish.

I think that they are on the old calendar as well.

I'm just glad that I'm actually Orthodox to be honest.

That's good. Until America has autocephaly I don't think I'll be changing jurisdictions because I don't want to be hopping to and fro depending on what the hierarchs are doing. (I'm in the "dreaded" GOA, myself.) Here's the interesting thing, though: I found out this past Sunday that the most venerable OCA has been communing with multiple spoons, while the GOA has been insistent on communing with a single spoon.

Take that how you will.

There's no competition to be won between jurisdictions. We are all Eastern Orthodox. We can be concerned about issues without feeling animosity.

Yep, although not all OCA parishes. I’ve been to two OCA parishes in the past couple months; one used disposable wooden spoons, the other one followed the traditional practice

And even going one step further, both positions are found within each person. The line between good and evil cuts through the human heart

I'm just glad that we have Mt Athos and The Monks, the monasteries established by Elder Ephraim,
Saint Paisios Etc.

Thank God.

Through the prayers of our holy Fathers, Lord Jesus Christ, our God, have mercy on us and save us. Amen.

Please pray to God for Our Jurisdiction and the rest of The Church beloved Elder Ephraim (Memory Eternal) and Holy Saint Paisios Amen.

I think St. Ephraim is a saint. Here's a video of a guy recounting his encounter with the saint, and how just being in his presence changed his whole demeanor.

I am in the OCA. I haven't seen multiple spoons. I have seen a parish sanitize the spoon between family groups and the one I'm at now serves it according to tradition.

Yeah, it’s weird because I’ve seen some GOA parishes do multi spoons while mine is single spoon. Sometimes both within the same metropolis.
