With Obama it began with the birther movement that he wasn't even a legitimate president. That's day one.

That began in 2004 with Andy Martin. HRC brought it up against Obama in 2008.

I am not an idiot. You will not listen to me. Trump was not president in 2015. Could not have committed an impeachable offense as the president. 2017, at his inauguration and shortly thereafter, (before Trump ever even sat behind his desk) he could not have committed an impeachable offense as the president. Yet people were calling for it.

Is this hoopla is ignoring the fact people wanted him impeached before his first action as president. You talking like I do not understand that impeachment is a trial of sorts. I am asking why did people want to impeach him before he was even president. And how do you think that plays into the texts and documentation stating they were going to remove him from office?

The only conclusion I can come to is the always sought to get rid of him, and this is just part of that plan.
No, Impeachment is not a trial of any sort. It is a formal accusation, which has not been made yet. First there is an investigation, which is ongoing, then there will be open hearings, which begin next week, then formal Articles of Impeachment will be drawn up and voted on by the House. The trial will not begin until those Articles of Impeachment are approved by a majority of the House and presented to the Senate.

All I see is a criminal president whose luck is starting to finally run out.

Again. He is not a criminal. You perceive him as one and want him to be so. As Well as certain individuals involved in these proceedings.

And that feeling has been present, and acted upon since he has ran. Leading us to a whirlwind 3 years of constant unabated accusations and attempts to oust him.

Regardless, you asked for the reason for the pressure to start an impeachment investigation early on, and that was it. Whether the investigation was conducted improperly or not will be sorted out in time.

Ok fair enough.

Realy? I have never seen so much effort to destroy a president in my entire life. It is 90% of what congress does. Almost all Trump every single day.
That is not true.
There are now over 300 bills that have been passed by the House sitting on McConnell's desk that he won't allow the Senate to take up. If he did the public would see that the 'do nothing Dems.' have actually been doing a lot of legislating along with their fellow Rep. House members.
Out of 435 representatives in the House only about 100 are involved in the impeachment inquiry. The others are continuing to do the work of the House. Even those who are on the investigative committees continue to vote on legislation, both Dems and Reps.

I'm not a juror or Senator so I am under no obligation to assume he is innocent. There's plenty of evidence from Trump's life before and after being elected president for me to assume he's up to no good and is trying to cover up wrongdoing.

And that feeling has been present, and acted upon since he has ran. Leading us to a whirlwind 3 years of constant unabated accusations and attempts to oust him.
That's because Trump has done nothing but behave like a guilty party in nearly everything brought against him. He doesn't act like an innocent person would in a similar situation. We have his former personal lawyer sitting in jail right now because of a crime Trump directed him to commit on his behalf. We have years worth of tweets and speeches where he blatantly lies about all sorts of matters both big and small. We have a man who refuses to divulge his tax forms like he had promised he would.

There are more than enough reasons to not believe Trump when he says "I am not a crook!"

Sure but you leave out that nothing the Trump administration is trying to accomplish is in those bills sitting on McConnells desk. Including sweeping gun regulation. The dream and promise act. Another act to raise the min wage to $15 an hour.....

He isn't doing what they want, so in typical fashion people litigate to put them in submission. That didn't work either. So now he is a monster because he will not do what they want, or appeal to their own ideals.

The problem is that is how this entire investigation has been conducted. Under no obligation to assume he is innocent.

Clinton was adjudicated and found in contempt. Trump has never even been in court for a single misdeed. They are jumping directly to impeachment to investigate "what if any" crime was committed.
Trump has NOT been impeached. They are investigating to see if the accusations against him are true and rise to the level to be impeached.

So what? The House is not obliged to pass bills that agree with what the Trump administration is trying to accomplish. The President hasn't the Constitutional authority to dictate to the House in that way.

Off of a false premise that was manufactured in the first place. Why can you understand where I am coming from?

Excuse me, but is it your contention that a President must FIRST be convicted of a crime in a separate legal setting before being impeached in the House?

All I can see about where you are coming from is that you think Trump is a wonderful guy and are unhappy that so any people are working to be rid of him for reasons you don't understand.

Oh sure. So instead of the house being in accord with Trump, he has dictatorial reign. This accusation happens every time someone agrees with or acts favorably towards Trump.

Trump's Constitutional responsibility is to faithfully execute the laws enacted by Congress.

Nope. There are 13 pages now of my contention. I said what was the supposed crime President Trump was found worthy of being impeached for in 2015 to 2017 and on his day of inauguration?

He had to have done something awfully bad for Struck and Page to be stating he needed to be removed if he got into office. Or Waters to start ranting a couple of days after his inauguration.

My question was on what legitimate grounds did people call for his impeachment even at his inauguration?

The other poster was correct, you just want to rant.
Please enjoy doing so.

What do you do when Congress acts unlawfully/unconstitutionally against you to protect themselves for criminal prosecution? This goes back to draining the swamp. People keep asking when is it going to happen... I ask them what do you think you are witnessing? Why do you think they hate Trump so bad and want him out of office?

The question still remains. How did some come to the conclusion a crime was committed by the president before he was in office?
It doesn't matter what some groups or even the occasional Rep. has said in the past. Trump isn't under investigation for anything other than this Ukraine issue that I know of even though the Mueller investigation found he had obstructed justice approx. 10 different times.

Maxine Waters doesn't represent the other congressional Dems., the DNC, or Dems in general. Now if you can find where Nancy Pelosi was calling for his impeachment from day one you might have a justifiable argument.
