I don't post dreams often on this site. I blog my dreams, because it helps me to discern if they are coming from God or just my subconscious still from God. Either way, I find I learn things from my dreams. But I believe I got some good insight for this dream that has helped me and hope it will help someone else too. I had this dream like a week ago. Something like that.

It was like watching a movie. A basketball game was going on, teenage boys versus girls. This seemed to be focused on the girls. They were losing bad, and the five girls and a female coach started walking back stage toward the exit door. This one girl was really discouraged. The smallest of them all and was at the end of them. The coach talked them all back inside into the game and she stalled the longest standing outside the door. She was the last out. The coach said that she may be the one they needed to win. So she agreed to come back in. So they went back to the game and they were passing it to each other, but not to her. This boy comes and sits on the back of the discouraged girl and starts pulling her hair and being mean to her/laughing at her. Then the referee went over to them with his whistle, but was looking to a panel of three judges on the sidelines. No one else acted like they saw her at all even though she was crying for help. So then, like a fog horn sounded. And I didn't understand at first that the game had ended and the girls had lost. The boy gave her one last jab and got up and left. She was yelling for help, but her coach and team were leaving like they didn't see her. One girl on her team was behind with her mom who was scolding her and then the discouraged girl cried for help and both saw her. Like the first time, besides the female coach, someone acknowledged her there. Her mom told her daughter the coach was coming, to ignore her, and they passed her in concern. And out of view she told her daughter "come over here."

Then white papers with black outlined faces were dropped in front of the discouraged girl. Ones unfamiliar to me. She didn't see a face, but saw the man's feet of the one that dropped the three drawings of people in front of her. And I woke up.

So I prayed about it, and this dream encouraged me that no matter how hard life gets and how discouraged it is easy to feel sometimes, the Coach is coming back. He has never left, but always puts people in our lives to encourage us and build us up when we are down. God wants us to finish strong in life, because the enemy really has no power in our lives. That boy on top of the girl in the dream was just that. A kid compared to the girls in the dream. The world may judge who the strong ones and weak ones are and call the game, but they really are not the judge at all. Our Father is. And He loves us and cares for us and will never leave nor forsake us. So never give up children of God. If the enemy knocks you down, get back up and just have fun playing the game. Because we are winners in Christ Jesus.

Never amazes me how much I can read scripture and then see something with fresh eyes. Thanks for sharing!
