Persecuted Christians have seen the impact of God's miraculous work in their lives and cannot keep it to themselves. It enables them to share their faith with others, sometimes putting them in danger.

Dear Father, thank you for the bravery of new believers in China. They meet in secret and if caught face years in prison. In the summer they wait until midnight and then go to the lake to baptize a new believer. In winter they baptize believers with a water bottle inside.

I pray for the secret Christians in Saudi Arabia where converts from Islam face serious persecution. Dear Father, protect them and find ways for them to share their love of you.

Whenever you are arrested and brought to trial, do not worry beforehand about what to say. Just say what is given you at the time, for it is not you speaking, but the Holy Spirit.
Dear Father, I pray for the Christians in prisons and labour camps in North Korea. Fill them with courage and faith. May the power and guidance of your Holy Spirit be at work in them.
