It is made up.... "sources close to the president" = nobody. Trump tells you everything he is thinking, for good or bad, he Tweets when he farts. If he had given even a second of thought to this, he would have tweeted it even if just to get an initial reaction. This is fake news, it is a made up story that will >>NEVER<< happen and >>NEVER<< be breathed by him unless as a joke. It's stupid!

In multiple occasions Trump has claimed on Twitter that he didn’t say things he’s on video saying. The guy is a habitual liar.

"according to sources" and "behind the scenes"

I don't know if I would trust this to be the truth.
It’s exactly the kind of thing he would say.

I believe he suggested disrupting storms with bombs. This has been considered by our scientists for decades. And I believe he likely said to "nuke em". But I can guarantee you he did NOT mean to detonate a nucellar explosion.

Just as almost all of us do, he used the term the same way we talk about "nuking" something in the microwave. It takes either a true idiot to think he was talking about a nucellar bomb, or else someone so eaten-up with hatred that he beat Hillary in the 2016 election, that they will attempt to subvert absolutely anything he says.

Yeah, I remember him saying a crowd of 8 or 9 thousand was a crowd of 10 thousand. And he said of Charlette, that there were good people on both sides of the dispute. OH, what a horrible liar. LOL

As I suspected. Again, “Landfall in the US” is a stupid, meaningless metric pushed by AGW deniers to con people who don’t know better into believing something that isn’t true. A hurricane is a hurricane regardless of whether or not it crosses a certain, somewhat arbitrary, geopolitical boundary. As those links I provided show, there has been no such 15 year lull.
I don't deny anything. Your side made a very major mistake by saying that, after Katrina... hurricanes hitting the US would be more like that year and more and more violent. That scare tactic failed because they were wrong and once they were they shifted the public focus away from that comment. Just like in the 70's, champ... when they claimed the next major event was an ice age. And claimed to the point that a few scientists seriously proposed covering the ice caps in soot to trap in the heat.

If you want to keep following these people and their wild claims, be my guest. I don't care what you believe.

Wait a sec. Are you suggesting that Trump is NOT a frequent liar?

Who are you calling a true idiot?

lol wut? A conventional weapon wouldn’t make any sense in this context because of the substantially lower explosive yield. The largest conventional weapon in the US arsenal is the MOAB, which has a yield on 11 tons. Little Boy and Fat Man were more than 1000x more powerful and they’re smaller than modern nukes.

I don't deny anything.

Yes, you most certainly did:

And what hurricanes... there has been less of them in the last 15 years, below normal... ”

We’ve gotten lucky for a few years in that the hurricanes that really did happen at their normal rate (or more) managed to divert away from us. Your post doesn’t make any sense if you’re not arguing that hurricanes are less of a threat than they used to be.

Both do their job with energy.

Now, with Mr Trump being a stable genius he knows exactly the principles involved.

We didn't get lucky... your predictions were just wrong. Too much pride to look at the last 20 years and just yell "lucky!" That's like claiming that in 10 years there won't be any beach front homes on a certain beach and then go buy a 3 million dollar home on the same. Hypocrites is what these so called leaders are who push this. What does it tell you when they claim the world is dying and then instead of a video conference they fly all over the world ON PRIVATE JETS to just go talk about it? Come on...

You know that there weren’t fewer hurricanes, right?

The prediction was that the US would have more and stronger hurricanes hit land. That was a fail. You know that, right?

Well, you know, he had an uncle who was a scientist at MIT for many years, so he, Donald, understands science, a natural instinct. Seriously.

I don’t really care where the storms went. That previous storms didn’t hit the US has no bearing on either the validity of Trump’s plan to Nuke Em or the prediction that AGW will cause more intense hurricane seasons.

Prediction according to whom?
It was all over the news... the "models" were showing an increase in hurricanes making landfall. It was hilarious... the year after Katrina there were NONE that made landfall when they had said the next year would be worse than the last. :)

They can't even tell us what the weather will be (with 100% certainty) in 3 days and you all believe what they say it will be like in years. That is something. :)

Save for the FACT that Trump doesn't have a plan to nuke anything. Tell you what... I will let you win this point. Go find an audio file or video of Trump SAYING he thinks this is a good idea. When you have HIM SAYING IT... you win the point. If you don't have him saying it... then he didn't say it. This isn't difficult.
