The Bible does not tell me to take on a denomination or a label or to follow a specific church organization by a specific name. In fact, Paul condemned the idea of seeking to be followers of a particular person (like: "I am of Paul," or: "I am of Apollos," etc. - See 1 Corinthians 3). 2 Timothy 2:15 says,
"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." (2 Timothy 2:15).
So we are to study God's Word (Scripture) to show ourselves approved unto God and not be spoon fed. We do not need a church to interpret the Scriptures for us. We have the Spirit to teach us all things. For 1 John 2:27 says,
"But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things,..." (1 John 2:27).
