Life during the Millennium will be much the same as what we experience now.
The big difference is there will be no deceiver or Satanic temptations to lead us astray. Jesus will be a benevolent King and all will live in peace and prosperity.
There is no scripture that says anyone will be taken to heaven. Only after the Millennium, will God and therefore heaven, come down to us.
So yes, Handmaid; bring your flyswatter! BUT just brush those pesky insects away, don't kill them; they all have a place in God's perfect Creation.

The first resurrection (of the saved) happens when Jesus returns and all are taken to heaven for the 1,000 years.
There will be sin on earth until Satan is destroyed and that does not happen until after the 2nd resurrection (of the condemned).
The New Jerusalem, Gods Kingdom on earth is established after all has been destroyed and He makes everything new.
Revelation 21
1Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth,
for the first heaven and earth had passed away, and the sea was no more.
2I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
