If only sick hours could be used like that. They're flexible with hours, but it doesn't look like I can take extended leave. If only I could use my accumulated sick days. That way, I could get "sick" whenever there's a class, and still have a few left over. Not serious about that, but I'm definitely weighing my options.
French? Oh no... lol.I've been asked this a few times. When I chose Wayholka I had a backstory for my fursona where he was born in a fictional country in the Yucatan peninsula that survived Spanish invasion. Now I'm embracing my French heritage and taking my fursona to another direction. My other character, Itzel, is now of Mexican descent instead of Yucatec.
It's a French name meaning, "Born Again Wolf".
My new dentist has seen a lot of me lately. I went about a month ago to have a chipped filling repaired, and he told me to come back so that he could sort out another filling which he didn't like the look of (which raises the question of why my previous dentist who did that filling was happy with it).
And now today I first felt a hard object in my mouth, and now my tooth seems strange when I touch it with my tongue, so I think I've lost a filling although because it's an upper tooth I can't see without setting up some mirror system. It is ultimately my fault as if I'd taken better care of my teeth I wouldn't have those fillings, but at least there's not pain which is a sign that nothing more will be needed than a simple replacement.
Dentist offices smell bad? Yikes.
Nowadays, many hospitals have found a way to get rid of or at least camouflage the strong smell. They install air fresheners that spray into the air every few minutes which keep the hospital environment with fresh fragrance. They also use fragrance floor cleaners to reduce the strong smell of disinfectant. It is quite nice. However, dentist clinics still have that strong smell. Sometimes it can be very overbearing.
If your teeth are failing you, perhaps you might need to watch what you eat and brush them clean and thoroughly. Eating is an enjoyment that is given. So, we need to look after our teeth well. A good set of teeth will serve us a life time.
I pray that the Lord will strengthen your teeth and those damaged ones will be healed.
I will leave this verse and prayer for you.
Take care, and be blessed.
Thanks.
My teeth actually aren't in a bad state. I wasn't particularly good about taking care of them and didn't go to a dentist for a long time, which resulted in me having to have a number of fillings when I finally did go. But that was about five or six years ago, and I've been a lot better since then and haven't had any problems apart from recently, with one filling getting chipped and another one coming, and both are things which can happen no matter how careful you are as a filling is never going to be a perfect replacement.
So the moral of the story is do your best to avoid having to have fillings in the first place...
So I went to get my hair cut yesterday, and every time I go to that shop, I always do a double-take because one of the hairdressers there bears at least in my mind a striking resemblance to a woman I talked with on a dating site some years ago, even though I know it can't be her. Well, guess who ended up cutting my hair this time? And now I find out this woman's a Christian.... darn it, I wish I knew if she were single or not...
If you really need to fill up your teeth, then it will be better to do so, wouldn't it? Leaving a hollow space may cause food particles to stay there after eating and when they are not clean off quick enough, it gives room for bacteria to set in which then cause tooth decay later on.
I hope it goes well for you after the filling.
You can ask her, couldn't you?
