Look at all the gun violence in the US however. Based on the statistics, only the populace gets hit, the leaders seem to always miss it.

I think its a matter of statistics. For every high level politician there are thousands of normal people, so you got to butcher through them before one of the important people gets killed.

But you are correct, they really need to step up their game. So many more people could be killed that are still breathing precious air.

As has been noted many times, contrary to the myopic perspective of trump worshippers, God's will is both efficacious/predictive and permissive. One need only peruse scripture to comprehend what "God gave them over" means. That his cult believes golfing, tweeting, lying, and parroting fox news is the height of presidential greatness speaks to not God ordaining but rather to God permitting. That his Christian supporters go through incredible mental gymnastics to excuse his blatant despicable nature and ineptness is certainly a sad statement on the merits of truth.

Actually if we look around our country is doing very good right now. Much better than in the recent past under Obama.

Should make re-election easy for Trump.

And all these examples you've given are a lot of the reason why I don't take conservative Trump supporters seriously anymore. I don't take their preaching against sin seriously or their preaching about morality seriously or their judgmental finger pointing at liberals seriously either. I think they have lost all of their credibility to be taken seriously because of their continued unwavering support for Trump. It's also become clear that they have lost the respect for their Christian faith too because of news articles like: "Evangelical's very public sin," "Evangelicals sell their souls for Trump," "Evangelical convictions for sell," "the great Evangelical compromise," and "Evangelicals abandon their principles" and the other news articles I posted in another post. That's a terrible blotch on their Christian witness.

M-Bob - Yes, trump inherited a thriving economy and it continues to do well...at certain levels. However, in many respects this president has done great damage across the board in many areas, but many of an undiscerning nature only choose to "see" what they want to see.

Thank you for the polite reply but, we will see what happens during the next election.

The Democrats seem to have no solutions for any of the problems we face. It would be nice for a change if both sides could start working together if only a little.

There is a major difference of course, in the Bible the man accomplishes things that are good. So far with few exceptions, Trump has managed to wreck or make-worse almost every aspect of life he has touched.

Trump is doing more damage to the body of Christ than Satan could have ever dreamed of. Any Christian who supports Trump has lost all respect from a moral, ethical, and philosophical standpoint in my eyes. In a few decades Christians will lie and say never supported that monster currently in the White House. Unfortunately for Christians, I and several others won’t forget when all of their morals were tossed aside in their craven pursuit of power. Christian Withess will be in tatters when Trump leaves the White House.
