Thank you. I will try my best to focus on God and take every thought captive. Not ruminate on sexual thoughts. I think it may be because I make too big a deal of them. I fear a lot and sometimes I feel like I hit the "point of no return" but really I can't let these thoughts control me as they are just thoughts and they don't need to lead to action. I guess I will just think of Jesus when I get a lustful thought and take it captive and focus on good things right away in order not to get it out of control. It may be easier said than done, but I will try. Thanks for your support.

Also you may have struggled with lust but you were never addicted. Because no person who knows what addiction is like would ever speak to someone who is struggling with the addiction like you are. Getting over addiction has nothing to do with love of God. Trusting God? Yes it can, but we all struggle to trust God at times. I love God and he knows my struggle and he knows I don't mean to hurt him. Addiction is also physical in your brain, it's hard to break the cycle.
My advise to you is do not ever try to use this reasoning with a spouse..
Nice try but I have been saved for over 2 years now. You don't understand what salvation even means. It means coming to Jesus, not being sinless or being perfectly obedient. You are wrong and decieved, and God will judge your for that so I beg of you to repent, please.
That you feel guilty is your salvation working on you. In the meantime the answer is very simple. Look at scripture and see how many times we are instructed to get up and go help somebody. Not to wait until they come to us, but for us to get up and go look for them. To bring them comfort and to bring them the Word of God in the name of Jesus? Get up and go..., and go..., and go...,. The whole idea is to be a new creature. Those feelings you fear come from endorphin release. We can have the same good feelings from helping someone for no reward. And we can replace the desire to find those carnal pleasures with the desire to experience those Christ centered actions of helping others. Trust me, from one who knows. It is that simple.
Please stop using versions besides the KJV. This is complete corruption and twisting of that verse.
