Revelation 17

17 One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the punishment of the great prostitute, who sits by many waters. 2 With her the kings of the earth committed adultery, and the inhabitants of the earth were intoxicated with the wine of her adulteries.”

3 Then the angel carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness. There I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that was covered with blasphemous names and had seven heads and ten horns. 4 The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and was glittering with gold, precious stones and pearls. She held a golden cup in her hand, filled with abominable things and the filth of her adulteries. 5 The name written on her forehead was a mystery:

and of the abominations of the earth.

6 I saw that the woman was drunk with the blood of God’s holy people, the blood of those who bore testimony to Jesus.

This is, obviously, a "Christian" organization. This is why the word "adultery" is used, for one. She claims to be married to Christ, yet is an adulteress. This is why, amongst other reasons, anyone claiming this is anything else -- is wrong.

So, there is no reason to be fooled, regardless of how false religious "experts" insist otherwise.

We have all seen how wicked leaders are these days, and as they have been in the past. They are strong and smart. Like Satan. Their strength is measured by their ability to commit sins and tell lies. You often hear this in popular speech, where one villain bemoans the heroes or lesser villains, as "weak". Because they will not perform some ungodly act or give up some abominable lie.

This is also a reality, a startling reality people should be aware of.

What you may casually disagree with, in regards to false religious establishments, God may see as organizations festooned with blasphemous names.

That is, their very titles they give their organizations and their leaders, is seen as blasphemy.

Do not be fooled by the size nor age of such groups.

Communism and Nazism both caught on, and have been believed in by billions of people. Islam has been around for well over a thousand years, and you know it is not of God. It has billions of adherents, to this day. However, "Babylon" is clearly not Islam.

Nor is "Babylon" Jerusalem, as some claim. Jerusalem God separated from almost two thousand years ago. Nobody has paid attention to it since that time, except for lately, and that not because their teachings are mainstream. Christianity is mainstream, but that is a product of the Holy Church, the Bride of Christ, united by the Spirit -- not by organizations made by men.

Decades ago, a most simple, seeming innocuous 'symbol' used in Hawaii, by other gods,
was seen in people's lives and experiences to cause a curse in their life, even though it was used for very many tourists with no idea of its relation to a false deity/idol/ god.

In the USA,
this may happen every day,
as people go their way,
unaware
of the idols in their paths,
as they travel thru stores or chapels,
with hidden needles or darts
of the enemy thrown their way
hoping to connect with a target
and not bring concern to them
at the same time , no,
it is only later they realize
something is wrong,
and don't know why.....

There is promise in America, but also great evil. America is both the woman with the moon under her feet, clothed with the sun -- and the eighth kingdom, the one which was killed but is as if resurrected, so that the whole world follows after the beast.

America is the one that will take down Babylon. The Catholic Church.

We see it happening already in the news.

But, no one can believe it yet. They have survived so much evil and bloodshed, and have polluted the entire world with such madness.

Investigators across the states will dig up the scope of the conspiracies. Conspiracies of systematic covering up of sex crimes against children. How is it the church of God is in the business of shielding pedophiles and other sex criminals? Is it their business to learn of their crimes, and to shield them, for their own personal protection? That they may continue to live in luxury and power, holding sway over the entire world?

The world is as a prison, and everyone is condemned to death. At the very top of the prison is the Pope and his legions. Festooned in garish robes, plastered with blasphemous names, living in castles they have set out for God and His Christ? Robbing the poor of their inheritance and priesthood? Claiming a monopoly over the blood of Christ?

Is this what Jesus died for? To create a religion of rituals, sorcery, and magic?

They claim that the Millennium has long come, and they are reigning the world with Christ.

But, Christ returns with the dead saints and armies of angels. It is by the hands of angels that the Kingdom is set up. And, that Kingdom will never fall.

The world has killed the prophets who came to collect payment from the fields, and they have killed the heir, saying to themselves, 'if we kill him, we can take the farm for our own selves'. This is what the symbol of the Pope really says to the world. That Jesus is not coming back, that he has been killed. That there is no God -- because if there was a God, He would certainly not allow for such an institution to make such a mockery out of Him.

But, they are wrong.

It is all going according to God's Master Plan.

Isaiah 47

“Go down, sit in the dust,
Virgin Daughter Babylon;
sit on the ground without a throne,
queen city of the Babylonians.[a]
No more will you be called
tender or delicate.
2 Take millstones and grind flour;
take off your veil.

I think you misunderstand what I said.

God puts it in their hearts to take down Babylon.

America is the eighth Kingdom, the one which they believe is resurrected from the kingdom that was dead. The one which causes them to worship the beast.

But, I would also argue, there is an element here, which is the woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet.

Paradoxically.

Let's see if we can look at more of the Hebrew OT/NT Scriptures and let the spirit led jury decide.....

Ezekiel 8:3 identifies the woman:

Obviously.

A lot of markup used to color and bold your argument, as if style is more important than substance.

It just makes it more difficult to read.

Okay, you do not want to retract that statement?

That is definitely easy to prove wrong.

The seven churches were not in Israel. None of them were. Just starting at the beginning.

Even before that the voice of the Angel was said to be 'of many nations'. So, one sees, this is a problem just to begin with the very beginning of the book.

It continues this way through the entire book.

John was not even in Israel when the book was written, and Israel was already defeated in 70AD.

Otherwise, without writing a separate book here, there are many accounts of global events transpiring in Revelation.

Armegeddon is an interesting study.

While studying on the word "parousia" used in Matthew 24 and the Epistles, I noticed Peter also used the word "parousia" for the "Day of God", which is of course Armegeddon in Revelation 16.

An interesting appeal, coming from someone who claims the Book of Revelation was not written FOR those 7, 1st-century congregations, but instead was written for people thousands of years removed from the people the letters were specifically addressed and first delivered to.

Local Judgements of Cities, Nations and Kings are often described in scripture using language that evokes both Global and heavenly events.

After David's battlefield defeat of King Saul and His armies, this localized battle is described using the picture of the following Global and Heavenly events:

This is also a reality, a startling reality people should be aware of.

What you may casually disagree with, in regards to false religious establishments, God may see as organizations festooned with blasphemous names.

That is, their very titles they give their organizations and their leaders, is seen as blasphemy.

Do not be fooled by the size nor age of such groups.

Communism and Nazism both caught on, and have been believed in by billions of people. Islam has been around for well over a thousand years, and you know it is not of God. It has billions of adherents, to this day. However, "Babylon" is clearly not Islam.

Nor is "Babylon" Jerusalem, as some claim. Jerusalem God separated from almost two thousand years ago. Nobody has paid attention to it since that time, except for lately, and that not because their teachings are mainstream. Christianity is mainstream, but that is a product of the Holy Church, the Bride of Christ, united by the Spirit -- not by organizations made by men.

Hmm... I would be careful to associate land with people. Israel is a people, and Babylon is a spirit. The entire world is Babylonian - including Israel and the Vatican. The Holy Church is the set of virgins that follow the Most High God - not an ecumenical entity.

This is important for the End Times so that when you see these institutions and nations fall, you will not lose faith - having believed spiritual things are physical and vice versa.
