I have medical problems and don't want to trust a doctor, but would rather trust God

God can work through medicine and medical advice. Don't neglect it if you need it.

By all means pray! Perhaps those doctors are God's way of answering your prayers.

Ancient fisherman's proverb --- "Pray to God but row away from the rocks."

Prayers and yes God uses Dr's and medicine to heal and cure people. Prayer and seek medical advice :]

When we follow the Lord, I think we avoid a lot of health problems. I wouldn't recommend, though, that we never see a doctor. Thankfully I saw one not too long ago, had a blood test, and learned my bad cholesterol was way too high. I fixed it quickly with changes to my diet.

Father, may they see the good advice they are getting in the posts above. Amen.

I will pray for you ,but while you may not want to see doctors ,you might find some of God's created natural médicine and good healthy food a boost in your search for better health .
May our Dear Lord be with you on your journey and sustain you .

I pray that God will guide you toward healing, however that my be. I pray that you will find a way to trust doctors, as God has given us doctors to try to heal us. Amen.

God uses Doctors. God even calls people to be doctors. Don't deprive a good doctor from being the instrument of God's healing you.

I would suggest two things to you...

1. To see a doctor, and not pray and trust God, is wrong, God cares and wants to be involved.
2. To pray and trust God, and not trust a good doctor is also wrong, God has given us the ability to heal through medicine as well. Remember, the Apostle Paul advised Timothy to take medicinal action for a stomach problem (see 1 Timothy 5:23).

I think you need to both pray and see a doctor

Praying for you, and your doctors

God gave us doctors for a reason. Have faith in Him and go to the doctor.
Praying you are not seriously ill.

I tend to be leery of the medical approach, especially Big Pharma - though not always - and generally prefer a more natural method myself. However, I pray that your Heavenly Father will lead you to what is right for you.

Wording it like what I bolded makes it seem as if God is incapable of being involved unless we pray. Just wanted to point out that could be worded better.

And to the OP, by all means pray, but we have doctors to help heal us. If it helps, pray AND see a Doctor, and I hope all your medical problems are healed.

The only way we can make Him happy is ..with out faith its impossible to please Him. So to walk by faith is awesome but if we doubt.. then let not that person think they will get anything from Him. We all miss it now and then. just repent and and keep the Faith so to speak.

I believe in Him trust only Him.... Isa 53:5.. 1st Peter 2:24.. so as for Doctors.. lol.. just the other day.. I said to Him "seems I have to trust man know (talking to Him about medical things).. and HE came right back with "I made man"...do you see? NOT what I expect. Well I was not trusting Him.. look how He answered...its STILL pointed to Him..

I believe that God has given people gifts to help us. Doctors are God's gifts to us to help us with health issues.
