How does that help us? For every 1 dollar that leaves the country 5 dollars in needed domestic commerce is lost, and 1 dollar in needed tax revenue is lost as well.
Please explain how this works?

And yes how does DACA open the floodgates?

We are drowning in illegal immigration. It's like a flood. We need the water to go down before we add more water.

Yet according to the Pew Research center, the number of illegal immigrants in the USA dropped from 2009 -> 2015. So your "drowning in illegal immigration" is in reality "the situation that is improving".

I think someone has scared you and millions of other Americans into believing an alternate reality. And now that fear is going to put your country tens of billions of dollars more in debt as you fight against a problem that doesn't exist. Does that sound like a smart thing to do?

... and 1 dollar in needed tax revenue is lost as well.

Maybe people should have thought about tax revenue when Trump and the Republicans were busy giving huge tax breaks to the richest Americans.

Just out of curiosity, if tax revenue is so important, why was it OK to cut back on tax revenue collected from the richest Americans?

I believe that was in response to your claim that having Dreamers back in their country of birth is a good thing for those countries. In other words, they don't need to go back to Mexico, or El Salvador, or Honduras in order to have a positive impact on those countries. By staying in the US, working here, and sending money to family members, they are contributing to both economies. Do they contribute as much to the US as someone who keeps all of their money here? No. But they contribute a heck of a lot more than someone who went to public schools and received government-subsidized healthcare for 18 years, then was deported before they could get a job and contribute taxes back into the system.

If the "trade turn" (archaic term) is 5x then the $60Billion that leaves the economy via the immigrants would have provided $300Billion in domestic business activity. At an average of 20 percent take by the combined Fed and State governments that's $60Billion in tax revenue (some of it would have gone to support social programs here).

And yes how does DACA open the floodgates?

The same way Reagan's amnesty opened it 30 years ago.

Reagan amnesty children fight for another

"The immigrants were legalized, but the enforcement lagged. Over the next two decades, the unauthorized population grew to more than 12 million."

There's no reason to believe that enforcement would be any better this time.

I didn't support the tax cuts. I think taxes should be increased on everyone.

This is true. But what does this have to do your post? You said the USA is being flooded with illegal immigrants. This is factually wrong.

Do you think it is wise to spend tens of billions on a problem that you have now discovered does not exist?

I'll be honest, I consider it the opposite of wise.

The number of illegal immigrants per year has been going down for several years. Our net immigration from Mexico is zero.

I don't understand the continuing comments about the flood of illegal immigrants.

We are drowning in illegal immigration. It's like a flood. We need the water to go down before we add more water.

We've already spent trillions on illegal immigration.

That's because we tend to make an industry of our problems instead of solving them. That would be killing the goose.

I'll concede that the incoming flood has receded, but the main flood of 11 million illegals still.....exists.

I think that Trump's rhetoric is very effective in this regard and he should keep it up. It's the least expensive way to reduce the number of illegals here.

We spend millions tracking down murderers that will likely never kill again too. Maybe there's some savings to be had there. ;)

As Ann Coulter has said, DREAMers are the worst kinds of illegal. They are not only here illegally and immorally, but they also tend to be the biggest activists and promoters of their cause, while many illegals are just trying to work humbly and hard to support their famalies.

I echo Ann Coulter's call that DREAMers should be the very first ones deported and should NEVER be allowed back.

Lot's of highly educated folks here are still unemployed. Of course they can't work for 'entry level' pay as can the Dreamers.
I could have sworn. I seen a video. That plenty of Americans aren't smart enough to pass the test to get certain jobs. Or many are on drugs. I believe a lot of the dreamer people are working hard enough to get really good jobs. That aren't looking for low paying jobs. Trump might want to think, is it better for hard working people to stay in America. Or maybe other countries might see them worthy of getting jobs in their country. Thanks to Trump not wanting them. Other counties might.

Yeah that would put a lot of SJWs and political mouthpieces out of work wouldn't it?

Doesn't sound like you want to solve the problem, just keep the voter base numbers up.
