After a couple of years, it will always have been the Democrats fault.
There are many good Democrats. The problem is with liberals.
Yes, not enough of them.
Or maybe they will be very grateful for whatever charity they get.
And who would have guessed that fatty/starchy foods are very cheap and healthier diet is more expensive and time consuming? So great if you are rich with plenty of leisure time, or a personal chef. The (metaphorical) irony is that poor people generally eat more than rich people. Rich people generally have healthier diets than the poor. The poor often eat more fatty and starchy foods, which leads to obesity, lethargy, and various health problems.

So, important fact: Being rich is better! Who could have guessed that?
Not true. A healthy diet is quite inexpensive, and easy to prepare. Eating a poor diet has become a habit among the poor, largely because that is what 'well-meaning' people have always fed them.
No, eating healthy is more expensive and more time consuming. Starches like staples like potatoes and rice are cheap and quick and easy to prepare. Bags of potato chips and pop are easy to give children, so if you are working three jobs, that seems like a good solution.
World hunger could be prevented for roughly what the U.S. spends on defence in 36 hours.
That's the U.S. alone. As I said, the wealth is there, the will is not.
That's millions of children under 5 that could be saved each year and for an amount of money we wouldn't even know was missing.
It's sad, really, especially when elections are won and lost over things like abortion but as soon as it comes to losing a bit of our own money, well, that's where morality ends for most people.
Not only is the wealth there, but given our technology and our manufacturing ability world wide, homeless and hunger can easily and I mean EASILY be eradicated.
we just lack the will.
When I was younger I thought one day mankind would evolve enough to see the obvious truth and to do the right thing...
but as I've gotten older I've learned that a soap bubble is round for a reason.... There is a reason why the world is what it is. There is a reason why easy to solve problems not only go unsolved, but are purposefully made worse...
It is all about control. The best way for the powers that be to maintain control of the populace is with "never ending" problems.
In the book and movie 1984 this was accomplished via a never ending war and a totalitarian government... Sadly, there are many parallels between 1984 and Western Society especially the US.
We always have some version of a never ending war, be it the Cold War or War on Drugs or now the "War on Terror" and coming soon the "War on *insert pithy catch phrase here*...."
the Republicans and Democrats are in many regards mirror images of each other yet they maneuver their segments of the populace such that there is a perpetual struggle against "the other group" ... It is up to *insert political party* to save the country from the other party that is trying to "destroy America"...
but back to the starving masses...
we could solve the problem world wide but we just won't. The powers that be can't let that happen. I know... that sounds like conspiracy nutter talk.
But that doesn't mean it isn't right...
The very wealthy will be helped a lot more.
If you itemize, that's about the only deduction that's not being cut. Cynical would be if you're in a lower bracket next year, and make your 2018 charitable contributions by Dec. 31 of this year. That way you will realize a bigger tax saving than if you make it next year.
No, eating healthy is more expensive and more time consuming.
Or they live in the wrong states for their votes to matter.
``Are there no prisons?'' asked Scrooge.
``Plenty of prisons,'' said the gentleman, laying down the pen again.
``And the Union workhouses?'' demanded Scrooge. ``Are they still in operation?''
``They are. Still,'' returned the gentleman, `` I wish I could say they were not.''
``The Treadmill and the Poor Law are in full vigour, then?'' said Scrooge.
``Both very busy, sir.''
``Oh! I was afraid, from what you said at first, that something had occurred to stop them in their useful course,'' said Scrooge. ``I'm very glad to hear it.''
``Under the impression that they scarcely furnish Christian cheer of mind or body to the multitude,'' returned the gentleman, ``a few of us are endeavouring to raise a fund to buy the Poor some meat and drink, and means of warmth. We choose this time, because it is a time, of all others, when Want is keenly felt, and Abundance rejoices. What shall I put you down for?''
``Nothing!'' Scrooge replied.
``You wish to be anonymous?''
``I wish to be left alone,'' said Scrooge. ``Since you ask me what I wish, gentlemen, that is my answer. I don't make merry myself at Christmas and I can't afford to make idle people merry. I help to support the establishments I have mentioned: they cost enough: and those who are badly off must go there.''
``Many can't go there; and many would rather die.''
``If they would rather die,'' said Scrooge, ``they had better do it, and decrease the surplus population."
I concede what your claim, but would warn readers from inferring that the poor bring their health problems on themselves. Unhealthy food is generally cheaper, and that may well be the reason why the poor eat more of it.The (metaphorical) irony is that poor people generally eat more than rich people. Rich people generally have healthier diets than the poor. The poor often eat more fatty and starchy foods, which leads to obesity, lethargy, and various health problems.
Even in a decade it will still be Obama's fault. Lost their keys? Obama's fault. Gained 100 kilos? Obama's fault. Got drunk and thrown in jail? Obama's fault. After a couple of years, it will always have been the Democrats fault.
A rather audacious claim - one I expect cannot be supported by the record of history.Where the fat cats are there is money to be made by everyone who is prepared to work.
A rather audacious claim - one I expect cannot be supported by the record of history.
We must be careful to distinguish with something that is at least plausible - that trickle-down works - from what the historical records shows, which is in this case that trickle-down does not work.
