It's not good. He was hit head in by a car that did not see him. Then he was run over by another car. They are checking for brain activity. Meanwhile, pelvis is crushed, legs are broken and his belly is open which is exposing his intestines. They are just trying to get him stabilized and see what the options are before they operate if they do at all. It sounds absolutely gruesome.

He had some surgery last weekend. They just partially closed up his intestines. I am not sure why they did it that way. Waiting for more info this evening. Thank you all for the prayers.

Maybe they only partially closed it up in case it turns out they have to do some more work on his intestines, so they won't have to open him up again.
