I want to do a study on the character of the Devil.

Why am I focusing on a Satanic personality?

So I can defeat him.

In my Bible, it says that the Devil is "powerful, wicked, cruel, and arrogant." Amongst other characteristics.

I guess it would take extreme arrogance to exalt yourself, "Above everything that is called GOD or that is worshiped."

I say you can post this anywhere on CF. I've learned more about the Devil and his powers and things we should fear from him etc.....on this site than anywhere else in my life.

I actually wrote a joke concerning Satan's personality. It is hilarious but, extremely crass. I can't post here but will send it as a conversation if you wish. But, I warn you, it is crass!

The Bible covers the Devil in detail. If you want to know your adversary and defeat him, look no further than your Bible.

But a lot of the information about, and power given to, the devil is taken from outside the bible. There was a thread about the devil having a monopoly over a wooden board game.......This isnt in the bible....but was firmly believed by many.
