• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

    If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

    If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

Yea, that's what I'm sayin, it's easy to blame him, easy to get mad at him, instead of actually trying to remedy your anger.

Anger, in any case, should not be encouraged.
Anger is never justifiable? Doesn't God himself get angry? He is described as being wrathful both in the NT and the OT.

Ezekiel 8:18 ESV
Therefore I will act in wrath. My eye will not spare, nor will I have pity. And though they cry in my ears with a loud voice, I will not hear them.”

Deuteronomy 9:7 ESV
Remember and do not forget how you provoked the Lord your God to wrath in the wilderness. From the day you came out of the land of Egypt until you came to this place, you have been rebellious against the Lord.

Psalms 7:11 - God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry [with the wicked] every day.

Romans 1:18 - For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

John 3:36 - He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

Anger at God.

I think that God is capable of understanding why we humans might sometimes feel that we are justified in feeling anger towards him.

Psalm 103:14
New International Version
13Just as a father has compassion on his children, So the LORD has compassion on those who fear Him.
for he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust.[/quote
