Today at 04:12 PM Ratioann said this in Post #40 a rock that was split down the middle with severe water erosion under it.

The photos of the rock are pretty impressive. No one questions that there was a spring and water there for years. So you have a rock where the Bible says a rock should be, split like the Bible says, with clear evidence that it was a source of water for years.

I actually pictured it as a lot smaller, I thought it was only a 3 or 4 foot big rock, before I saw the photos.

ikester7579, you have to remember if you post in a forum like this one you have to expect all things Christian to be refuted. Even the Bible, Jesus and God are seemingly without exception. Disbelievers rule the roost in here though it doesn't make them any more correct or incorrect so if you feel you have to say something just throw it up and ride the wave.
If you feel it is too risky or don't want something you care about being soiled by having it trashed than best either go to a Christian lent forum to discuss or keep it to yourself.

Gold does not rust Lucaspa. I am not sure about Ron Wyatt, and don't need him or his discoveries for my faith. He supposedly found the Ark of the Covenant under Mt Calvary with blood on it, dripping down through a crack in the rock, that was caused by an earthquake. Sounds amazing and makes my skin crawl, because that would be such and amazing fullfillment of scripture, if true. Dr Jones was wrong and the Ark is in Jerusalem!! Well anyway, just my two cents.

Ron Wyatt is a fraud who makes a mockery of the work of professional biblical historians, archeologists, and theologists. These professionals have all come forward and shown that he is a fraud. He takes advantage of the gullible and sells products to them telling them of fantastic stories of discoveries. When professional archeologists and biblical historians investigate, they find nothing that supports his claims.

what was the gold used for?

Pure gld doesnt rust, but if it was mixed with enough other elements to make it hard, the mixture can rust, especially in harsh conditions.

Why would they try and disprove God or Jesus in here, this is the science forum and deals with all things natural, not supernatural.

The Apologetics forums might be a different story, but that's what it's there for, so you can "apologise" (defend) the faith from attackers.

I seem to remember creation being one of the words used to describe the title of this section of this forum. And who created?

Well anyway, I will not be around for about 2 weeks to a month. My pc took a major dump when my cpu fan decided not to work. Got so hot that it took out my mother broad also. So it's gonna take a while to get up and running again. I'm using my 500 mhz pc which I have already sold. Just waiting for the money then it will be gone. Then I will be without until the other one gets fixed. Until then c ya.

Yep, I sure did pay 7 dollars. I got some of the original tapes from when he first came back.

About his son admitting to something. Lets see, I can put up a web site and say your son admitted to something. And what can you do? Nothing. And that's all the evidence you have to discredit this man?

5th March 2003 at 08:37 AM Eddie said this in Post #34

The pics were of planted evidence.  His kid admitted to it.  He could not lead reputable scientists to the "Ark".  Come on, he is rewriting history don't you think that he would be lionized by all if his stuff were real?  Do you think that there is a massive conspiracy to hide his results?  Could it be that he lies?  Darn tootin.

Let me amend my charge of fraud and liar.  He is a dispicable manipulator of the pious beliefs of many people and in so doing he makes money on it.  What would you call it?  He is precisely in the same circle of hell as other liars like Hovind (where did he get that doctorate again?) John Edward, Van Praghh and a host of others that prey on the credulity of believers and the sadness of those that experience a loss.  They are the lowest of the low and there is a special place in hell for their like.

by the way, visiting the Wyatt site, I find the following (edit to remove some wierd scripts, the Ark tape costs $30.00)

It appears that his tapes sell for $18 to $30.  Let's see, cost of a tape $1.00, sleeve $0.50, production Free (bet you that it is either family or pious volenteers that do it).  Cost to you, my friend, a mere $30.00 for a rightous profit of $28.50 or 2000%.  Truely Gods work.  Are you sure you paid $7.00?

No, Mr. Wyatt found a money making machine and you, because of your need to believe at all costs regardless of evidence or common sense, support him.
