I have been very busy lately with my volunteer job and another event I am getting ready for so haven't been around much, but now I see everyone changing their names and I have to say it is very confusing. Especially when you are looking for a thread you participated in and see it was started by someone different.

So what's with all the name changing?

I'll tell you this, I almost started a welcome thread when I realized these were oldies (but goodies), so don't expect one! :p

Hey Sis,

After 10 years of hiding behind a pseudonym, I decided it is not conducive to true accountability. After all, what do I have to hide? I stand behind what I say and am not ashamed of my views.

On the other end of the spectrum, I see another old hand here went the opposite direction; changing from their real name to a pseudonym. You might ask as to why. I think I know, but I don't care to speculate. ;)

hi Phil, It did throw me a bit but I knew you anyway, but then to find someone else choosing to go the opposite (I didn't even realize that ;)) , and in light of the recent conversation to take on a name that only causes derision and division, well just wondering what its all about. Seems passive aggressive to me.

I'll just remain Lulav, a palm waving before the king. :)

Now we can see who you are, of course, I already knew who you were.

The Number 7.

Philip

People with this name are excellent at analyzing, understanding, and learning. They tend to be mystics, philosophers, scholars, and teachers. Because they live so much in the mind, they tend to be quiet and introspective, and are usually introverts. When presented with issues, they will see the larger picture. Their solitary thoughtfulness and analysis of people and world events may make them seem aloof, and sometimes even melancholy.

Represents lucky people, emotional, creative, cordial with pleasant personality, optimistic, talented, friendly, love people, with charisma, good sense of humor, use imagination. Do not care orders, frames, rules and therefore may be scattered. Young forever. Good friends and appreciate honesty.

A completely stunning guy. Dashingly handsome, he is the most wonderful person you will meet. He's awesome, cool, super funny, awesome, funny, super cool, gorgeous, super awesome and all the perfect things in life. He's always there to make you feel better when others are bringing you down. Very caring, protective and a real sweetheart. He's strong, muscular, athletic, adorable and very sexy. He's the most amazing person you will ever meet. Complete awesomeness.

Hawley

English and Scottish: habitational name from any of various places called Hawley. One in Kent is named with Old English halig ‘holy’ + leah ‘wood’, ‘clearing’, and would therefore have once been the site of a sacred grove.

A hedged meadow.

All I need is a list of your siblings and a list of your parents siblings and your Hebrew birthdate.

If I had that, you would be naked, I would know you, I would be able to lift the skirt right over your head as it were, tell your fortune.

After all, God named you before you were born and you are what you are.
