Christians are changing the meanings of "Gods" word daily, 30.000 flavours at the last count.

I should have said the King James. The fact that people want to
tweak it for more clarity of reading does not change the message.

The fact is it doesn't matter how many denominations, if they do not profess the life, death, and resurrection of Christ for our sins they are not Christian. Period.

Are you grasping for reasons not to believe the gospels are truth?

The ending, before the addition, still clearly states that THE TOMB WAS EMPTY. Other gospels clearly state that Jesus was seen by others, alive after his death. They were not later additions.

Grave robbers would explain that.

Grave robbers would explain that.

How did they get past the Roman guards? And then roll open
the huge stone? Did they then masquerade as Jesus to others
afterwords?

Then they covered it up for all time? Rather unlikely scenario.

I'm not sure how that fits in with creationism, but whatever.

The ten toes of Nebuchadnezzar's dream represent a revival of the old Roman Empire.

Notice in his dream that it is Jesus (the stone) that destroys the Roman empire.

The Roman empire wasn't defeated, it split (the two legs of Nebuchadnezzar's statue) and dissolved away.

Then ten toes then are ten nations that would come out of the old Roman empire, which would correspond to the European union.

(Do you know of any other union that has roots in the old Roman empire?)

Interesting. I suppose it's no more far-fetched than some of my Biblical interpretations.

Scientist say that our galaxy doesn't have enough matter to hold itself up or keep everything in its place. According to the laws of gravity everything should be flying around and smashing into each other. But it doesn't and it seems everything is well balanced and suspended, floating in space.

Scientist say there may be a mysterious force that is at work which influences all the stars and planets and gravity is just a small part of what keeps everything in place. Some say we may have the theory of gravity wrong and need to revise what role it plays.

According to the big bang theory the universe is slowly expanding and will either slow right down, come to a stop or start to contract. But what scientist have discovered is that it is actually speeding up. The dark energy that makes up most of the universe is having some sort of effect on things and scientist are yet to work out how and why this is happening.

These discoveries show a force at play which breaks the rules of what they understand about gravity. If gravity is the rule out there in the universe as it has been observed then something mysterious is at work. The empty dark space thats all out there may not be empty but play an important role in how everything relates to each other and keeps everything in place relative to each other.

It is hard to believe just as with genetics and complex life came from seemingly nothing that all this finely balanced universe just came out of nothing and blew into it finely balance position from a big bang.

They would rather make up their own story and call the real story a fairy tale. It's what keeps science in business.

Really E.D.?

You should be ashamed of yourself. You know that science works. What are you using to get your message out to the world right now?

According to the laws of gravity everything should be flying around and smashing into each other.

Really? The laws of gravity say everything should be smashing into everything else? That's what they say?

You do realize that a scientific law is just an observation of reality? They're not some rule that can be broken. They're not a rule at all. That laws of gravity say no such thing.

The dark energy that makes up most of the universe is having some sort of effect on things and scientist are yet to work out how and why this is happening.

There are things we don't understand about the universe. So what? Just because we don't have an explanation for something doesn't mean we never will or that it's impossible to obtain.

These discoveries show a force at play which breaks the rules of what they understand about gravity.

That's an argument from ignorance. If we don't know, we simply don't know. That doesn't mean the explanation is your god or anyone's god.

If gravity is the rule out there

Gravity is not a rule.

Seriously, you have got to get away from the tripe creationist literature that you frequent, because they're giving you a distorted view of what the actual science is saying. Go to Pub Med. Go to Google Scholar. Learn what the actual scientists are saying, and don't let your opinion be filtered by creationist cretins who don't even have the mental aptitude or honesty to properly understand the work they're dissecting.

Gravity is a law, the law of gravity. The law of gravity as We know how it works or at least how we understand it at the moment. We make adjustments with rockets and orbits because of gravity. So we had an understanding of what how gravity worked and thought of it as a universal law. I'm not saying anything about rules or things being broken. I am speaking about what we know about gravity and how dark energy is changing that and affecting how we see gravity and what role it plays.

From the big bang we understood that the effects of gravity would eventually slow things down and then it would either stop or start to retract on itself. (What goes up must come down.) Thats is how we understand gravity. But now with the discovery of this mysterious force of dark energy we find that the universe, galaxies are actually moving faster. And they are increasing in speed as the universe expands.

This is an unexpected find as it goes against the how the known laws of gravity work. So as gravitational forces tend to pull towards the denser matter dark energy seems to pull away. It is said to be one of the most unusual discoveries at the moment until we can understand it better. It is also suggesting there may be more than one form of gravity or that we need to revise how we view gravity. I wouldn't have a clue how it all works, Its like genetics i cant get my head around that either. All i know is that its interesting and is changing the way we see things.

There are things we don't understand about the universe. So what? Just because we don't have an explanation for something doesn't mean we never will or that it's impossible to obtain.

Of course not its the same for any field. We will discover new things which will change what we know.

That's an argument from ignorance. If we don't know, we simply don't know. That doesn't mean the explanation is your god or anyone's god.

It brings up an interesting aspect to it. Because dark matter and energy are so unusual and seem to go outside the normal laws as we know them, it has baffled scientists at the moment. It is the same with dark matter. The space out there consists of some sort of something and it also has an influence. It is said to have an effect on how everything is positioned in relation to itself. So it works with gravity. They say the influence is very small but because there is a lot of dark matter and dark energy they help keep everything in place and working in relation to each other. Others wise everything wouldn't have order and smash into each other. I understand it is early days but it is very interesting stuff.

The same as the higgs boson.

Gravity is not a rule.

Didn't use one creationist site for the research. Used national geographic and science sites. They all same the same.

Dark energy is here to stay. Thanks to the link that concurs with mainstream cosmology. You posted links that accept mainstream cosmology and none agree with your God did it philosophy. What's your point?

Dark matter completely concurs with God "philosophy". The Bible claims that Jesus holds the universe together. That there is a force that indeed holds the universe together supports that claim.

I think the bible claims a lot of things that are not true.

You must realise that if you can make an argument for Christianity you can make an argument for every religion,
that's the price a faith must pay, if one is right they all are, if there was evidence for any one religion then there would be only one religion, faith is only needed in all religions because there is no evidence.

If faith is not enough for you then you are not a true believer because faith is all there is.
