hubby not Christian

Hello! New user here. I've not been in chat rooms much. All this concern from people I do not know is new to me.
So, I am 1 yr. 2 months new to the Lord. I was always a religion, but never knew I could have a relationship with my Lord and Savior. How cool!!!
My husband is not Christian, and never was churchly. For the past 5 months or so he has been going to church with me and participating in some of the activities I participate in. I praise God for allowing him to experience all that he has so far!! Also, hubby does take care of the children and I to the best of his ability. No complaints-God gave me a good man. My concern is what he does when he spends time with his non-Christian friends. They are a group that has been friends since high school. They play games that I do not accept and use language that I do not accept. These would be video games, or fantasy "gaming" (like D&D and such).
How do I deal with my dislike for all of this? Hubby feels he is trying to please me by participating in church...which is good, but, we all know what you feel in your heart and your actions outside of chruch do count very much!
Please pray for us. Thank You.
God is my Strength!

I will definitely pray for you....I would just keep on praying yourself, and setting a good example for your husband. Expose him to the Word as often as he'll let you. Show him how awesome it is to have a personal relationship with God!

My thoughts on the subject.....

God works in ways we will never understand. Sometimes we see His work in our lives immediately, other times it takes quite awhile. Be patient, pray and continue to take your husband to church. God will change your husband at His pace and in His way. One day your husband will stop with the foul language, the next he will start reading his Bible more, the next he will find new Christian friends, etc. Keep praying and I will join you.

My advice to you is to be his example of Christ in your home by taking your children to church every Sunday with or without him, and by being the light around his other non-Christian friends. The light of the Lord is much brighter than the darkness of the devil and where there is light darkness can not linger. Even though you will hear and experience things that you do not wish to, just pray and ask the Lord to wash your mind of the unclean thoughts trying to enter. Try memorizing some scriputure to plug into their converstaions just to run the darkness out of them. AS a Christian we must not stay out of the world as most people misinterpret Romans 12:1-2, but we must not conform to the PATTERN of the world but be transformed by the renewing of our minds through Christ. This means that we are to take the light inot the dark places and do not fear because as a Child of God, He will not leave you or forsake you as He promises in Joshua 1:5 to Joshua. I have many non-Christian friends and I go to non-Christian parties, but my friends know not to offer me a beer, but instead a bottle of water or a diet coke. They also know not to use bad language around me, or get drunk in front of me. By going to the parties with my friends I try to show them that I love them and want to be with them, but I also show them that I can not be a part of the worldy things that they do, and they respect that and two of them have been saved since then. I hope you find peace in your relationship and situation therein, but be sure of this. The light will shine in the end, and all you can do is be a good example and pray for your husband and gain knowledge so that you may answer questions he has about your blind faith. \

Lifting up Emily and her husband, Father. Let her wonderful example of faithfulness to Jesus draw him closer into a friendship with Jesus too. Lord, let it call to his heart like nothing else can or ever will.

Keep her strong, loving, gentle, and full of peace.

In Jesus, I ask.

Psalm 112;7 He will have no fear of bad news;
his heart is steadfast, trusting in the LORD.
8 His heart is secure, he will have no fear;
in the end he will look in triumph on his foes.
