Would love to bring you bread and wine lamb :)

(Heb 10:25) Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

(Act 2:42) And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

as opposed to;

(Jud 1:19) These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.

(Luk 17:24) For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.
(Are we now "enlightened" in His Day? Let us be full of His light!) :)

Which is;

(Rom 13:11) And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
(Rom 13:12) The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.

(Isa 5:27) None shall be weary nor stumble among them; none shall slumber nor sleep; neither shall the girdle of their loins be loosed, nor the latchet of their shoes be broken:

(Eph 5:14) Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

(Isa 52:1) Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.

(Psa 7:6) Arise, O LORD, in thine anger, lift up thyself because of the rage of mine enemies: and awake for me to the judgment that thou hast commanded.

(Rev 1:3) Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

(1Co 15:4) And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

(1Co 15:34) Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.

Blessings in Christ ye who are awake together and full of light and righteousness :)

Thank you brin! I agree :thumbsup: :clap:

#5227 used 2 times in 2 verses. Here and in Coloss 2:14. Formed with the prefixes #5259, #1722 and root word #473. Literally opposing/against.

I put up the verse from Colossian 2:14 below, since it is a well known and often quoted verse concerning Christ's crucifixion.

10:27 Yet fearful any waiting of judging, and of boiling fire being about devouring the hostile-ones/upenantiouV <5227>

Textus Rec.) Hebrews 10:27 fobera de tiV ekdoch krisewV kai puroV zhloV esqiein mellontoV touV upenantiouV

Strong's Number G5227 matches the Greek ὑπεναντίος (hypenantios), which occurs 2 times in 2 verses in the Greek concordance of the KJV

5227. hupenantios hoop-en-an-tee'-os from 5259 and 1727; under (covertly) contrary to, i.e. opposed or (as noun) an opponent:--adversary, against.
5259. hupo hoop-o' a primary preposition; under........among, by, from, in, of, under, with. In the comparative, it retains the same general applications, especially of inferior position or condition, and specially, covertly or moderately.
1727. enantios en-an-tee'-os from 1725; opposite; figuratively, antagonistic:--(over) against, contrary.
1725. enanti en'-an-tee from 1722 and 473; in front (i.e. figuratively, presence) of:--before.
1722. en en a primary preposition denoting (fixed) position (in place, time or state),
473. anti an-tee' a primary particle; opposite, i.e. instead or because of (rarely in addition to):--

Colo 2:14 Out-rubbing/blotting-out the against us hand-writing to the decrees which was hostile/opposed/upenantion <5227> to us,
and has taken away out of the midst, toward-nailing it to the stauros.

1635. hekon hek-own' of uncertain affinity; voluntary:--willingly.

(Heb 10:26) For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

The usage of that word in those references above sure seem to indicate that we can opt to "volunteer" to subscribe to God's "will". We can "willfully" preach the gospel honorably, or we can willfully turn back to sin in dishonor. It is a choice.

(1Jn 5:16) If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.

Which sin is...

(Heb 6:4) For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
(Heb 6:5) And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
(Heb 6:6) If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

Let's not do that uh uh! ;)

(Heb 10:27) But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

LXX (1Sa 26:10) David said furthermore, As the LORD liveth, the LORD shall smite him; or his day shall come to die; or he shall descend into battle, and perish.

LXX (Zep 1:18) Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD'S wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land.

(Rev 20:9) And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

(Rev 20:10) And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

(Deu 4:24) For the LORD thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God.

(Deu 9:3) Understand therefore this day, that the LORD thy God is he which goeth over before thee; as a consuming fire he shall destroy them, and he shall bring them down before thy face: so shalt thou drive them out, and destroy them quickly, as the LORD hath said unto thee.

The "fire" is Jesus, come baptizing by His Holy Spirit fire, which destroys the enemy, (our wicked adversarial selves, our false prophet selves).

(Luk 3:16) John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:

(Luk 3:17)
Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and will gather the wheat into his garner; but the chaff he will burn with fire unquenchable.

Jesus is our fire that purifies us.
Jesus is our fire that destroys our wickedness.
That is what "fire" is in scripture :)

It is formed by 2 prefix words #473/#575 and the root word #1325.

This verse appears to be taken from Deut 32:35, which I put up at bottom.

(Heb 10:29) Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

The blood of the old covenant;

(Exo 24:8) And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD hath made with you concerning all these words.

The blood of the new covenant;

(Mat 26:28) For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

(Heb 9:20) Saying, This is the blood of the covenant which God has enjoined unto you.

(Heb 13:20) Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,

Fulfilling "The great covenant";

(Gen 22:16) And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son:
(Gen 22:17) That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;
(Gen 22:18) And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.

(Jer 31:33) But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
(Jer 31:34) And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

(Gal 3:16) Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

Beware those who tread this covenant under their feet;

(Act 13:45) But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, and spake against those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming.
(Act 13:46) Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.

which IS the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit;

(1Jn 5:16) If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.

(Tit 1:14) Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.

(Deu 32:35) To me belongeth vengeance, and recompence; their foot shall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste.
(Deu 32:36) For the LORD shall judge his people, and repent himself for his servants, when he seeth that their power is gone, and there is none shut up, or left.

(Psa 135:14) For the LORD will judge his people, and he will repent himself concerning his servants.

(Isa 1:24) Therefore saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts, the mighty One of Israel, Ah, I will ease me of mine adversaries, and avenge me of mine enemies:

(Mat 24:2) And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

(Mat 24:21) For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

(Mat 24:29) Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

(Rev 6:15) And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
(Rev 6:16) And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
(Rev 6:17) For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

(Rev 6:16) And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

(Heb 10:32) But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were illuminated, ye endured a great fight of afflictions;

Which was Jewish fables;

(Gal 3:1) O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?
(Gal 3:2) This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
(Gal 3:3) Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?
(Gal 3:4)
Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain.

(Tit 1:14) Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.

(1Ti 1:4) Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.

(2Jn 1:8) Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.

#390 used 12 in 11 verses [9 times in 9 verses ISA]. 2 times Gospels, 2 times Acts, rest in Epistles. Formed with the prefix #303 and root word #4762, literally "turned up/converted".

The KJV concordance shows it used in Matt 17:22 and John 2:15 [concerning the overturning of tables in the Temple], tho looking at the ISA interlinear and NIV/NASB concordance, those 2 verses aren't showing.

This verse seems to be talking about those Jews and non-Jews who have "turned" to Christ as Savior, since Jesus had told those who came to the faith of Him would be having tribulation in this world after He has rose and ascended.

10:33 This indeed to reproaches, besides also tribulations, being gazed/spectated. Yet this, paticipants of the thus ones converting/turning-up/anastrefomenwn <390> (5746), being become.

#5523 used 2 times in 2 verses. Here and in Acts 2:45 concerning the event of Pentecost and people selling possesions and parting them out.

It is a form of the root word #5225 which the lexicon shows being formed of the words #5259 and #746.
Another form of that word is also used in this verse and I decided to put that greek word in this verse.

One of the greek texts [W-H] and some Bible versions do not have "in heavens" [shown as plural in the greek].
Best to check different bible versions on this particular verse, as with any verse in the Bible.

10:34 For also to the prisoners ye sypathize and the snatching away of the possessions/goods/uparcontwn <5224> (5723) of ye with joy anticipate, knowing to be having yeselves better possession/uparxin <5223> *in heavens* and lasting one

Textus Rec.) Hebrews 10:34 kai gar toiV desmoiV *mou* sunepaqhsate kai thn arpaghn twn uparcontwn umwn meta caraV prosedexasqe ginwskonteV ecein *en* eautoiV kreittona uparxin *en ouranoiV* kai menousan

Strong's Number G5223 matches the Greek ὕπαρξις (hyparxis), which occurs 2 times in 2 verses in the Greek concordance of the KJV

5223.
huparxis hoop'-arx-is from 5225; existency or proprietorship, i.e. (concretely) property, wealth:--goods, substance.
5224. huparchonta hoop-ar'-khon-tah neuter plural of present participle active of 5225 as noun; things extant or in hand, i.e. property or possessions:--goods, that which one has, things which (one) possesseth, substance, that hast.
5225. huparcho hoop-ar'-kho from 5259 and 756; to begin under (quietly), i.e. come into existence (be present or at hand); expletively, to exist (as copula or subordinate to an adjective, participle, adverb or preposition, or as an auxiliary to a principal (verb):--after, behave, live.
5259. hupo hoop-o' a primary preposition; under, i.e. (with the genitive case) of place (beneath), or with verbs (the agency or means, through); (with the accusative case) of place (whither (underneath) or where (below) or time (when (at)):--
746. arche ar-khay' from 756; (properly abstract) a commencement, or (concretely) chief (in various applications of order, time, place, or rank):--beginning, corner, (at the, the) first (estate), magistrate, power, principality, principle, rule.

KJV) Hebrews 10:34 For ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance.

NASB) Hebrews 10:34 For you showed sympathy to the prisoners and accepted joyfully the seizure of your property, knowing that you have for yourselves a better possession ** ******* and a lasting one.

#3405 used 3 times in 3 verses, all in Hebrews. It appears to formed by 2 root words #3408 and #1395.

I found it interesting how #3408 is used in Reve 22:12 and appears to symbolize a type of wages given to hires.

10:35 No then ye should be casting away the the boldness of ye, which any is having great reward/wages/misqapodosian <3405>

Textus Rec.) Hebrews 10:35 mh apobalhte oun thn parrhsian umwn htiV ecei misqapodosian megalhn

Strong's Number G3405 matches the Greek μισθαποδοσία (misthapodosia), which occurs 3 times in 3 verses in the Greek concordance of the KJV

3405.
misthapodosia mis-thap-od-os-ee'-ah from 3406; requital (good or bad):--recompence of reward.
3406. misthapodotes mis-thap-od-ot'-ace from 3409 and 591; a renumerator:--rewarder.
3408. misthos mis-thos' apparently a primary word; pay for service (literally or figuratively), good or bad:--hire, reward, wages
1395. dotes dot'-ace from the base of 1325; a giver:--giver.

Revelation 22:12 And behold!, I am coming swiftly and the wages/misqoV <3408> of Me with Me, to render to each as the work is of Him

#2865 used 11 times in 11 verses. 2 times in Gospels {Matthew, Luke}, rest in the general Epistles.

This particular form of that greek word used only in this one verse. It appears to have the meaning of both bring and receive, and the promise perhaps symbolizes either land, goods and resurrection and eternal life thru faith and obedience of the Son of God, Jesus Christ, as prophecied to the partiarchs in the OT/OC.

10:36 For of endurance ye are having need, that the will of the God doing, ye should be receiving/komishsqe <2865> (5672) the promise.

Textus Rec.) Hebrews 10:36 upomonhV gar ecete creian ina to qelhma tou qeou poihsanteV komishsqe thn epaggelian

Strong's Number G2865 matches the Greek κομίζω (komizō), which occurs 11 times in 11 verses in the Greek concordance of the KJV

2865. komizo kom-id'-zo from a primary komeo (to tend, i.e. take care of); properly, to provide for, i.e. (by implication) to carry off (as if from harm; genitive case obtain):--bring, receive.
