Obviously I wouldn't want a husband to say something brutally honest like "hey you're getting fatter" or "that dress looks horrible" or "this chicken sucks.. it does nothing for my tastebuds... arrggh". BUT he could do something more considerate and less obvious like start exercising with me, or tell me that he really likes some other dress, or offering to cook with me and giving little suggestions like "hey let's add some of this seasoning". Then he isn't lying AND he isn't hurting my feelings...

Oddest question ever

I voted to be honest, but in reality.. well I suppose if I was ever actually married and having sex and what not, I would probably be very very hard to get to "climax" or whatever its called, so I could see myself faking it if I knew it'd upset him, though its best not too.

In all things, honesty is the best policy.

We project our own understanding of sex on eachother when we actually have completly different understandings of it.

I doubt that all men are like that. Maybe a majority are, but its not a man-women issue, its an individual thing. I'm pretty sure a lot of men get why you'd have sex without it.

I believe if I was to be honest with him we could work on things to better the sex and that would eliminate problems in the future.

You know, I never understood this whole faking it thing. Some girls only get there via other means. Not a big deal. If you don't cross the finish line during the race, you can always do so with a little post run help.

And also, hate to break it to you, but faking it isn't a one way street. I've done so just to get it over with.

One thing that I think needs to be said, is that it's not only the guy's job to get the woman to [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse]... Some girls can achieve it easily, while others can't. Alot depends on what the girl does.

A huge misconception about sex is that it's the guy's job to 'give', and the girl just 'receives' (ie. the guy does most of the work). Attitudes like that lead to an un-rewarding sex life. Both partners need to be in to it or else it just doesn't work.
