I'm just seeking advice from people out there.

i'm in australia and i'm 17, i now have the chace to go into schools over my city and preach the good word. i have a night time job so i can get money at night and do minestery at night.

New problem, i have just been accepted into uni on a special consideration deal. i originaly got a 15 and my course needed a 10 (1 being best and 25 being worst) is god testing me to see what i do.

right now i'm young, and i'm stoopid enough to believe that god will do anything in this world for me. i want so much to go into ministery but what do i do about my career being a teacher...

Jase one thing to keep in mind is that it's important to not allow a lapse to occur between high school and the start of college if you can help it because you'll begin to lose your study skills, discipiline and possibly even motivation for school if you do.In addition you've been offered a special admission offer from a college that may not be given to you later. While you're at college you'll find part-time ministry opportunities. Ok Jase here's what happened - while I was typing that out,the Holy Spirit confirmed it,so you now have your answer. If you can't find a good Christian ministry to join, start one.God will help you.Hey Jase God really loves you.The Holy Spirit keeps telling me what to write to you. You're must be some special kid.

Trust God to open and close doors in front of you, as the scripture does say He will go before you and keep your back, too. If the doors appear open, walk through them in faith - with confidence that they are open because of God. As long as you stay close to the Lord and away from sin you can always count on this protection. If we live a phony life of excusing and practising sin, though, we can't really expect God to honor us, and we walk out from under the protective umbrella of abiding in Him. I can't stress walking upright before the Lord enough, for much of that youthful confidence can be kept till the day you meet the Lord. I know from experience just how terrible the consequences of backsliding can be and how lonely it can be without that confidence. Guard you heart!

Psalms 40:2 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.

Sounds to me like you just didn't do good enough. Is there any way to retake the quiz?

Though another thing may be, maybe He's called you to something like this, only you have mistook it for this set thing you're going after. Something to think about.

Honestly, I think you need to consider college before this ministry for two reasons.

The first is that you will be better equipped to carry out this ministry. The second is that you're still pretty young and it's not that seventeen year olds can't have a great impact for the Gospel but if you're going to go into the ministry you're talking about here, particularly if you're going to be ministering to kids, you (and they) would be much better off if you take that time to gather a little extra wisdom.

I can't think of a place in scripture where God called a preacher without first placing him in some place to prepare for that ministry.

Hi Big Jase,
God doesn't open two doors and ask you to walk through both so He isn't testing you. If only we were all "young and stupid" as you put it to believe God will do anything for us. ;) Only you can really decide which way to go Jase but whatever you decide you know you have the promise of God that "He will work all things for good to those who love Him". Be still and pray about the issue. 12volt-man made a good comment regarding training prior to doing. Even Jesus learnt how to shape wood before He shaped men. :)
take care
