I have a girl that I work with who has had lung cancer in the past. she had one and1/4 of her lungs removed but she is doing better.Last week she was at home and noticed a lump on her neck so she is having a ctscan this week. I am asking that you pray that it is not cancerous again. she is really afraid.She doesn't want to go through what she went thorugh before.She was declared cured to the best of my knowledge as it has been a number of years ago, but she is so young. about late 30's early 40's, and has 2 children in their teens.So I am praying that all goes well.

Thanks for your prayers everyone. I learned that she is going in for a biopsy on Monday,(4-8) so I will know more probably on Thursday and I will let you know what is up with everything! Blessings to all!

Ok this is what i know so far: The tumor is cancer and it is in her throat wrapped around he larynx, so the cannot operate. It is too close to her carotid arterie(sp?)
They also seem to think that the cancer is also somewhere else in her body possibly her liver. In 2 weeks they are going to start chemo. They can't start untill the incision on her neck is healed. So thanks for your prayers and i am also asking that you pray for her family also, Her husband is beside himself. I am not sure if he is a Christian, I do know she is Catholic, but I am not sure what he is, if anything. I will let you all know what is happing as soon as I can. Again thanks for your prayers! And God is good I know we can expect a miracle! I have been witness to them before!!

Ok here is another update: She is now going on medical leave so she can start chemo. The cancer has spread to her liver and the tumor in her neck is wrapped around her juggular vein and the carotid arteries. Please keep praying, I saw heryesterday and her spirits are up but she is the kind who can appear ok on the outside but be upset on the inside.I'll keep you posted as I can since she is away we are all on extra hours so I don't get on here much at all anymore.
