I did that already with an image in this thread. The globe model fails to explain it I guess.

So when the axis is tilted towards the sun you will get 24 hour sun at the height of summer.

On a flat Earth this would happen at the North/Central pole... but not at the south which is not an enclosed circular area, but the entire rim of the Earth.


In contrast, how is the the Flat Earth's South/Outer Rim simultaneously lit up by a single sun despite being vastly further away than the North/Central regions of the Earth?

It should never be above the horizon if the earth is horizontal with the sun, what they should have seen is the sun at the horizon line the whole time, but what is seen is the sun above them the whole time. From their perspective the sun should be below them on the globe earth model.

They don't see the sun "above" them. The sun appears to rotate around them, ranging from low on the horizon to high. They see this over the entirety of Antarctica during Summer, which your diagram fails to explain.

They very much do see the sun above them, watching the 360 view of the TFE shows that clearly, I'm going off of the videos provided in this thread, not the top of my head. Clearly, very clearly the sun is above them the whole time.



Ok, here we go dear ones, these images are in response to hopefully much of whatever questions have been asked by anyone that I did not read just yet, please look over these images carefully and really think.

The question for thought is in the second picture.

The "flat earth" stance I subscribe to is biblical, so the earth is not a flat disk floating in "outer space" rather, the land is in water covered by a dome, outside of the dome is more water, more ocean, the ocean outside the dome is more violent, but we are not under it. The water is coming from the throne of God that is on top of the dome, it flows down and around the dome constantly filling and expanding the outside ocean.

In this case, given the 24 hour video, we see the path the sun takes, at first it is farther away from them, as it makes its way left and behind them, it is closer to them, as it goes around it goes back out a bit farther, but it stays visible to them the whole time, because of where they are in relation to its path. As I hope everyone can see, in this case a sincere flat earth depiction explains what is seen better than the globe model.

If I may blunt.

1) nothing you explain here has been observed. Ever. This is not real. You havent seen it wither. You simply believe it.


2) I want to suggest to you that you are confusing "truth" with "my interpretation of the truth."
If you ascribe to a global earth you are not threatening the inerrancy of His word you are threatening the inerrancy of your own interpretation.

3) the questions you asked are actually taught in gr4 (in canada) and then reviewed in gr 7. Not understanding or accepting this information does not make you a "healthy skeptic". It means there is some rudimentary information about space that is missing.

4) Given the minutae of your understanding was extrapolated and much of flat earth theory is required to go "off script" from the Bible, how can you be certain (esp. With lack of any observation. Supporting it) that flat earth has teeth?

It...it doesnt explain why it sets...it explains thr motion of the sun over a flat but does not tie it to observation.
If the sun gets too far away (as the video claims would shrink in observable size AND lumenosity as it set but it stays the same size (changing colour due to gas in atmosphere but not getting darker)
