CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Don't want to monopolize this thread, so please say if it is completely out of line of me to keep asking for continued prayers - that's more than fair. It really is.
Please pray for me if possible and it's not asking too much, to overcome my continued sin of extreme slothfulness; to overcome my lethargy and to get praying – the excess pain in my knees; my attempts at becoming a faster driver (only recently passed my license exam and am cacking it trying to drive safely on Atlanta roads - my driving is pretty pitiful right now but I'm trying to improve..), my addiction to food & stuffing my face/not keeping the fasts properly and finally my family situation, as well as our moving situation (me and my wife are moving back to the UK from America - to Scotland this time instead of England).
To say life is stressful and maddening is an understatement at this point.
