When I first came across the written word "disciple", in my head, it was "diss-sipple" (learned to read in Houston with that accent). I never had any call to say it out loud so no one ever corrected me. I had heard the word said and just thought the two were synonyms for the longest time.

I know I pronounce words wrong when I write them the way I say them and get that red underline over and over.

I know a few who’ve quietly stopped bringing him up lately when just last year and for the last several years they couldn’t shut up about the guy and had so much to say about the last president but have seemingly become totally apolitical now.
