Or we could stop bowing down to the delusion a man can become a woman or vice versa since it has done our society so much harm collectively and to these unfortunate individuals.

They need REAL help with therapy and medication.
Or we could just let the cross dress and go about their lives as they wish. That does no harm to society at all,

lol. Not even comparable, unless they were screaming about Christianity and trying to force it upon others, then yes, I would say that is indeed wrong.
Gee, Christians trying to force their religion, or their rules, onto others....hmm, wonder if that's every happened? May have to give that one a think.

-- A2SG, oh my, the sarcasm meter just exploded, wonder why that happened?

No. This isn’t about forcing others. I don’t care what others do. Just respect the rights of others and keep children out of extreme gender ideology. That’s all.

Feelings don't change legal rights, ya know.

And neither does prejudice.

It kinda is.

-- A2SG, if anyone wants true privacy when going to the bathroom, they can find a lockable single-use bathroom....or simply go at home....
Legal rights to what? To pretend? I don’t buy that.

They are harming themselves…..but that’s a different can of worms ;) yes, they have a right to live as they want, but it must be further researched….

I thought we were talking about males, trans or not, in women's public bathrooms, and why that is immoral, even if the women don't mind.

Because women don’t want their personal spaces invaded. It’s about the right to privacy and safety. Again.

I'm not sure how cross-dressing is harmful. Is that a moral issue, too?

Ehhhh….i thought we were talking about trans? Cross dressing has been banned in some schools because it apparently offends others….its more of a fetish rather than so called identity.

Wait, we were discussing bathrooms...when did children and gender ideology (whatever that is) enter the conversation?

I agree...we should respect the rights of others. I just include trans people in that.

-- A2SG, not everyone seems willing to do that, though....

Cross dressing is part of trans, is it not?

….because children often use public restrooms? A 12 year old girl shouldn’t be forced to share a bathroom or locker room with a man who claims to be a woman .

Their rights end where others begin.

No one's pretending.

-- A2SG, unless it's the people claiming there are roving bands of men dressing as women just so they can attack people in bathrooms....that's fiction....

This whole thread is about trans in sports. So no, it’s not off topic.
OK, but the bathroom thing came up as a side issue. But the issue there involves safety, too, as well as sports records. The basic question is the same. Why should the president rule it out absolutely and without any exceptions? I agree that males should be kept out of women's sports as a general thing, but I also think that carefully monitored exceptions might be allowed if all participants are agreeable, all safety concerns met and no important records are at stake. Where does the President get the authority to horn in on something like that?

And the trans woman's rights? Oh, right, her rights don't matter.

-- A2SG, are trans people second class citizens, or have they been moved down to third class by now....
