So you think!
I'm not sure God works like this ??
God didn't dictate the Bible in English.
The Bible contains his words - his words to the prophets, the accounts of how he led Abraham, Moses, Joshua, Isaiah etc and the words that he gave to them for his people. Some of these are/were also prophecies that were fulfilled in Jesus in the NT. It contains the words that Jesus spoke and accounts of his life, and it contains letters written, mostly, by Paul in which he taught, encouraged and rebuked his churches, answered their questions and addressed their problems. Some of the words that Paul wrote could have been God's solution, or will, for a particular church which faced a particular problem, challenge or temptation. For example, if women were talking amongst themselves during worship or while the word was being taught, Paul could well have written "God says you should be quiet and listen."
That doesn't mean that WE have to obey, follow and apply every word in the Bible as though it was written to US.
It doesn't mean that we should say "all scientific discoveries are wrong; if God wanted us to know, he would have put it in the Bible." Or, "we can't do this in our churches, or order our services in this way; the Bible doesn't say that we can."
If we believe that every word in our English Bibles is there because it was put there by God, we are going to have problems.
As Paul says, "All Scripture is
useful for teaching .... "etc, not "all Scripture is God's command/dictated word and has to be applied by everyone."
