Apparently, some have forgotten the many times the FBI under the Joe Biden Administration targeted conservatives with the weaponization of lawfare.

"lawfare" is just a cute term meant to show contempt for the rule of law. That's all I get from that statement.

Power bent the knee towards justice, people did their due diligence to give consideration to Mr. Trump. And somehow that's weaponizing the justice system, just because he was investigated in the fist place. Even though it was pretty obvious to most of the world that he tried to orchestrate a coup, the FBI dared to touch the "anointed one".

For decades, the head of the FBI has attended a daily 8:30 a.m. “director’s brief,” where he is presented the most important intelligence and law enforcement information gleaned from thousands of agents and analysts across the country, current and former FBI officials say.

And on Wednesday afternoons, the FBI director or his deputy held a secure video teleconference with the leaders of field offices across the country to share information about bureau priorities.

Unlike his recent predecessors, Patel is receiving the “director’s brief” two days a week, according to two current officials with direct knowledge and two former FBI and Justice Department officials familiar with the matter. Patel has also stopped holding the weekly Wednesday-afternoon video teleconference with FBI leaders, one current and one former FBI official said.

Since taking office on Feb. 20, Patel appears to have made three flights on FBI planes to Nashville, Tennessee, where his girlfriend, a country singer, lives; two flights to Las Vegas, where he has a home; and one flight to New York, where he attended a professional hockey game. FBI policy in recent years has mandated that directors fly on government aircraft for security reasons.

FBI moving 1,500 personnel from D.C., closing storied headquarters building: Patel​

WASHINGTON − FBI Director Kash Patel announced in a Fox News broadcast Friday that he’s redeploying 1,500 FBI agents, analysts and other personnel from Washington to posts throughout the country, and shutting down the bureau’s storied headquarters because it is “unsafe for our workforce.”

Patel has talked frequently about moving FBI personnel out of the nation’s capital and even shutting down the J. Edgar Hoover FBI Building and making it into some form of a “deep state” museum.

I’m fine with moving a bunch of the FBI (and other agencies for that matter) out of DC, though this bit caught my eye:
