“At this time, we are conducting a review — no materials have been permanently removed from our school libraries pending completion of the review. During this period, materials under review will have access limited to professional staff,” according to a statement from the department.


So, it sounds like they used some sort of mechanism like AI, and probably didn't ask it specific enough questions, and it returned a list of the books, and now they're going to manually review the automated output.

Oh geez. IT's a CHILDREN'S book. Before they take steps to BAN a book, they aren't even willing to READ the thing themselves? bah.

While it's true that the LGBTQIA+ people have stretched that concept out of proportion, it's not a wrong concept. It's been taught for decades and should be untangled from the recent LGBTQIA+ ideology.

Sure, I get it, I who have been raised in chastening with a rod and trained up in the way that I should go in a manner that most people in your country would call child abuse and who then endured 20 years of the chastening of war as a soldier before ending up a refugee without status for another 20 years in a country thousands of miles from my homeland, effectively being a slave and who has only learned six languages in my adult life am a deceived fool because I am content with my lot and described as far too charitable and considerate to strangers and pan handlers even though I have virtually nothing.
