You know, that TULIP thing.Which are?
Nah ... those are not biblical.Yeah. . .those are Biblical.
No. It doesn't.The NT teaches all of them.
actually no it does notThe NT teaches all of them.
The NT does not teach any of them.Actually, it does.
Contrare. . .The NT does not teach any of them.
And yet we are slaves to sin (Jn 8:34, Ro 7:25, 11:32, Gal 3:22) . .slaves are not free (1 Co 2:14),Perseverance of the saints is a mock on the grace of God. I do not persevere. For a religion that is afraid to believe in free will afraid they might try to earn salvation by trusting in God. They believe they must earn salvation by persevering. Only THEY WILL persevere.
No. God keeps us, we do not persevere in anything.
God died for the world. Not for the elect. So that the world may be saved. (Free will)
Atonement was made for everyone, it is not limited. The unbeliever will be condemned due to unbelief, not due ot sin
I can go on and on and on
Well if that were the case then you wouldn’t believe in any of the Tulip doctrines but we both know that you do believe in all of them. So why would you say that you’re not a Calvinist if you believe in all five points of Calvinism? That would be any that do not agree with Scripture. . .
Right which means that you are in fact a Calvinist, so why deny it?Yeah. . .those are Biblical.
Again we’re not talking about the names that were written in the book of life. Those names will not be altered because they were written in it before creation according to God’s foreknowledge. But the question is what was it that God foreknew about them that determined whether or not their names were written in the book of life? Is it believing? Jesus told us that some will believe and fall away and only those who abide in Him and endure to the end will be saved. Is it being joined to Christ? Paul and Jesus both said that some who are joined to Christ will also fall away and that they would not receive eternal life. So what is it that God foreknew about these people whose names are written in the book of life? It appears to be those who abide in Christ and endure to the end, unless you have a better answer? Its basic math
1. God before creation determined that all who would receive his gift of salvation would be saved
2. Since God is omniscient and Transends time, He knows all of us before we are even born. and knows our whole life and verything we will do
So god predestined those HE KNE would come to faith. to be conformed to his image.
again, Not rocket science
Because I take my doctrine from Paul.Well if that were the case then you wouldn’t believe in any of the Tulip doctrines but we both know that you do believe in all of them. So why would you say that you’re not a Calvinist if you believe in all five points of Calvinism?
lol. You have people made alive still under the penalty of sinContrare. . .
And yet we are slaves to sin (Jn 8:34, Ro 7:25, 11:32, Gal 3:22) . .slaves are not free (1 Co 2:14),
the unregenerate cannot accept Christ (Jn 14:17) apart from the gift of faith (Php 1:29, Ac 13:38, 18:27, 2 Pe 1:1, Ro 12:3)
imparted in the sovereign (as unaccountable as the wind, Jn 3:6-8) new birth by the Holy Spirit (Jn 3:3-5).
The NT Is not in agreement with you. . .and teaches all of them.
Paul does not agree with CalvinBecause I take my doctrine from Paul.
If Calvin agrees with Paul, then good for him.
What is it that god forknew?Again we’re not talking about the names that were written in the book of life.
