In previous elections the choice was between candidates who would be able to pass background checks for entry level jobs and travel freely to Canada, New Zealand, Spain and other countries (where felons are banned from entry due to convictions.)

Uh, no. The donation was made in September of 2013. That's about two years before Trump ran for office (he started his campaign in 2015). A month later, the Florida AG's office quietly weeded out all but one of the previously-reported complaints against Trump's businesses and declined to participate in the Trump University lawsuit on the grounds that they had "only received one complaint".

What's misogynistic about it? She was in a position to sue Trump on behalf of the citizens of state of Florida, she got money from Trump, she chose not to sue Trump.
