  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Will Trump's resounding and definitive win cause Democrats to reflect?

I can understand people disliking Trump and rejecting him. What I cannot understand is anyone in their right mind thinking Harris would be a good, or even competent, president
How many times must I point out that I am not making a comparison. Whatever you think someone else has done or said, whatever you think of someone else's faults, it doesn't excuse anything that Trump has said or done. And almost every single thing would have instantly disqualified him from being a candidate in any civilised democracy that you could name.

You, and so many others, have chosen to ignore all of what he is. You have ignored the cruelty and the lies. You have ignored his convictions. You have ignored the immorality. You have ignored his mysogeny. And now a man like that is going to represent your country.

What Americans voting for Trump have recognized is that the establishment elites ruling class of the USA have waged lawfare against Donald Trump & his allies. Also, the leadership of the Democratic Party has constantly revealed their own hypocrisy & cruelty & lies & immorality. I praise the Lord Jesus Christ that a majority of American voters have finally recognized all of this as well.

Please. Give me a break. Remove all the court cases and he's still the most unsuitable person to have been considered a candidate. What we have seen him do and say - there is no denying it. Well, what am I saying...people have and still are denying it.

I was talking about Trump's daily dose of misinformation, not the election. People had all sorts of reasons to vote for Trump or against Harris besides gullibility.

Yeah that's not going to work. It's still calling his supporters gullible. It's elitist and boring now.

The majority of American voters have denied what the liberals media and liberals politicians have been wanting us to believe about Donald Trump. THAT is what we are denying.

You don't need to listen to the media. You just need to watch and listen to Trump. Unfiltered. The man has no moral character.

Are you trying to say these are not the same thing?
Yes... because they aren't.

This is Agenda 47 (by Trump). This is Project 2025 (by the Heritage Foundation). This is the 2024 Republican Platform (by the Republican Party). It is fairly easy to see these are all separate documents.

So when you claim that Agenda 47 and Project 2025 contain "Christian Dominionism" and when asked for evidence, instead point to something from the Republican Platform, that's a bit of an issue (also the fact what you cited from the Republican Platform seems a major stretch to label as Christian Dominionism).

It sounds like you have a major media portrayal of social justice.
Why are you telling me all this about Bidens and Pelosis and Clintons and Obamas? Don't expect me to defend them.

I realize social justice is a complex network of issues that requires more than a few band aids.

No, I didn't call his supporters gullible. Plenty of his supporters know full well what they're getting into, especially after Trump's first term in office.

Yes you did.

"It's not stupidity. It's gullibility. You can be brilliant and still be gullible. And I didn't say it was a majority, just that it was far too many."

Seems a bit broad. How many is far too many?

If you ask me it's the Harris supporters who were gullible. Not the majority but far too many believed the lies being told about Trump.

I think both are pretty gullible. There were various lies being told about Trump... but there were also various lies being told by Trump.

Trump is crude, bombastic, likes to exaggerate, make grandiose promises, etc.
Actually I like when a leader makes grandiose promises as long as they're sincere when they make them. Good leaders I think make a declaration and through being positive and brainstorming ideas to make it happen they can discover a lot of things are possible if they keep working on how it can be done. A realist seldom achieves anything spectacular and are not a person of vision.

Broad as in the general public. Broad as in it doesn't just apply to any one political faction. People can be gullible. It's a common thing. All you have to do is look around at all the nutty conspiracy theories running rampant these days, and they're coming from a wide variety of sources. Wouldn't you think liberals have come up with some whoppers? I know that I do. How do they keep spreading around?

I saw your comments about conservatives and social justice. Conservatives want to stop the inhumane border polities, the multi-billion dollar human trafficking system. Biden stopped the DNA testing for children with an adult, and remember has no idea what happened to at least 85,000 children. The American left is far behind conservatives in true social justice.

But your claim was Trump supporters were. Too many. Your claim wasn't that too many voters are, including Harris supporters. It was aimed specifically at Trump voters. I'm wondering just what in this campaign you think the Trump voters were gullible about? What do you think the Harris voters were gullible about? Since now you are willing to mention the Harris voters.

So the Republican platform is not Trump's platform? That is rather deceptive.
Thanks for engaging.

When did Trump say he was going to implement "Christian Dominionism" exactly?

Government run by Christians for Christians is Dominionisim. Please don't try to deny that a sector of Christians are taking part in this deception. Trump is a tool for them for Kingdom Now while Christians are a tool for him as merchandise. You'll see.
Be blessed.
