Keep begging God for help. I remember sadnesses that made me want to die. Read the Psalms and you'll see how David was often depressed but kept reaching out to God. Your parents aren't helping you cope. Don't blame them, but don't expect encouragement either.

The false "Prosperity Gospel" doesn't work in all circumstances that's why it's a false teaching.

NOT AT ALL. Give and it shall be given onto you, pressed down, shaken together and overflowing in abundance. You cannot prosper if you do not give. People want to prosper without giving and they have to hurt people to do that.

I can understand if you have a problem with the prosperity preachers. They like to tickle peoples ears. Although there is nothing wrong with positive energy. I have no problem with the law of attraction people.

I think what I wrote there came out wrong. What I meant to say is that teachings of "prosperity gospel" works sometimes and sometimes it does not.

The results are random like rolling a dice and God doesn't work that way.

In response to what you wrote there, our family and myself gave a lot when our finances our much better, we helped our poor relatives by offering them jobs and also giving them money. We gave over 10% tithes and donated generously to missions in the church.

But we lost our business during the pandemic, we lost dad to cancer only in his 60's, mom is disabled by stroke and I have to personally take care of her and now we're also drowning debt.

Now I'm underweight because I'm only eating half the calories my body needs. I can't even afford to buy enough food to eat.

I don't blame God for our situation. I didn't let go of my faith. If you read all of the Bible without filtering anything out, you'll see even Godly people must endure difficult trials even to death and will receive their reward in the life to come.

False prosperity preachers don't preach about prosperity in the same way. They preach that material prosperity is assured even in this age of evil taking Bible passages out of context. Their false teaching is easily exposed by Hebrews chapter 11.

Unless it's based on false teachings. We shouldn't let our guard down, take every thought captive.

The advice for any situation is always the same. Pray it through until God gives us peace. We trust in Him and do not try to figure it out ourselves. He has the answers and the solutions and usually it is something we never even thought of.
