Stuttering was never the issue. His cognitive decline was passed off as stuttering by his supporters. Stuttering, a cold, jet lag etc were silly reasons given. Then they all finally give up on that ruse and conceded that he is unable to continue as potus due to cognitive decline. Oh and they put way too much tanning make up on him, hence the title of this thread.
We'll be discussing the aftermath for a while to come. And he is still the president after all.
The same president the republicans say outsmarted them on budget negotiations last year. Admittedly, Biden might be less sharp that he should be, and still be a lot smarter than guys like McCarthy and Trump. Still...
He negotiated one-on-one with House Speaker Kevin McCarthy. Even McCarthy's own people admitted that Biden outsmarted them.
It's really something the way they've rebranded her.
He was no match for Biden, but he managed to beat all his republican opponents. Again, not a very high bar, but still...
You seem to have very little confidence in the competence of the republican party. I'm surprised you didn't notice that I agree with you. Biden did outsmart the House republicans (as they admitted), but it's hardly the greatest feat in the history of politics.
Are you forgetting that McCarthy's Republican opponents got together and defeated him? McCarthy tried to put lipstick on a pig, he compromised too much with Biden, and he said that he got outsmarted by Joe Biden. It wasn't too very long after that fiasco, that the House Republicans decided that McCarthy was ineffective and they defeated him by removing him from his position as Speaker of the House. Therefore, it is not doing your side of this discussion any good by keeping on bringing up your talking point about Kevin McCarthy who is NOT even in Congress any longer because he became an ineffective leader of the House Republicans.

Need I remind you that it took more Republican congressmen to persuade McCarthy to step down than those who are in that picture?
As I said, it wasn't only stupid and morally depraved people who did it. They were just the leaders.
