What is the firmament

Its an ancient cosmological concept. They expected, because of the iron in the falling meteorites, that the sky is made of some kind of metal and moving above the Earth. With lights in it and with some kinds of doors and windows for rain and the highest mountains in the end of the world holding it.

Scientifically, its nothing, it does not exist.

Is there a museum where I can see one of these meteorites ? If so how do we know they are genuine ?

As for Tutankhamen's dagger, I'm not sure it is made from a meteoric iron, any proof of this ?

It's funny when this or similar topics arise we can say, "It's an ancient cosmological concept." When we study other parts of the Old Testament do we say, "Those were ancient stories; They were ancient people; "These were ancient traditions and laws." ...and then also say "Such ancient teachings and ancient books are not relevant anymore, they don't exist in today's modern world!?"
