I go to a real Church where every brother and sister are my family. The funny thing is that at better that 300 active members covering the income spectrum, we are out of room in our children's ministry. We have raised about seven hundred thousand of the three million needed and have spent it for parking and code requirements.

The loan for one and a half million is about 800 thousand in earnest money, which looks good because as a family that loves the Lost we all give a dollar instead of buying a soda or a muffin. Not all preachers are dogs and both of my dogs keep the rabbits and squirrels out of the vegtable garden.

This preacher is one of them, a false preacher, who does not even preach the Gospel, and is scared of losing the progressives. Pray for her, that she turns to the scripture. The guy in another video (channel name: UnashamedOfJesus) finds false preachers, and rebukes them according to 1 Timothy 5:20.

I asked him about that via mail. In which his reply was he didn't know what I was talking about. But... That was a sad reality in the 1990's in which time I quit following a man or a denomination.

That is true. 2024 is the year that I realized it is better to be in the Bible compared to just going to church. Now, I do to church every week (when possible), but then I use the Bible to learn more about God. Hey, we all make mistakes, but it is not good to cover stuff up. Seems that he covered stuff up.

Agreed. God will forgive us of our sins, no matter how big, as long as we lay our sins down in front of Jesus. Terry D had some good words to say, and it is sad how he went down the wrong path. We can only pray that he repented in his later years during the 2010s.

If you read the article they were talking to city council at the time about expanding the ministry. Such talk was suddenly ceased. In this life you can do a million righteous things. Slip up one time.... And thats all folks will want to remember you for!

Thai is the sad part. Folks remember us for the mistakes we made, not the good we have done. Humans have a natural tendency to focus on the negative more than the positive. I hope that the positive legacy of this church survives in 2024.

I believe it was Confucius who said, "Doing good is not for reputation but reputation follows." It seems like even unseen realms are taking notice to our attempted righteous walk and will take great delight to our failures. Jesus himself warns that which is spoken in closets will be shouted on the housetops. And when we are in fault people will take great delight to our failures.

I personally take no delight to the failures of others and will spend time of day grieving over the fall

Amen to this. Doing good is not meant to be recognized. It does seem that a spiritual realm (a dark realm) is trying to delight in our failures. Do you think that this is the sign of the times? The more the world becomes interconnected, the more that our dirty laundry is aired in front of people, and that is all folks can focus on?
