My grandfather told my little cousin Haley and I, back when we were both kids, that thunder was the sound of the Devil whipping his wife.

Just suddenly remembered that.

I was always told rain was angels crying.

I really hate the zodiac signs and astrology. I used to find it interesting, but now I realize it is a waste of time and a lie. God did not give me sign, He just made me, me. I hate that certain signs are supposed to not get along. I am grateful to God that He freed me from interest in the zodiac and astrology. What God made/created is way better than what the zodiac says we are.

What a pity. It would seem more appropriate for angels of Heaven to be joyous all of the time.

Although, I guess I cannot criticize. Angels despite their gentle nature in our story Arc Arath are often very sad these days as well ... because they know the terrible fate that awaits them if Evil wins in the end.

... Sorry, just been thinking about Arc Arath a lot the last several days due to my suddenly being so into bringing the characters to life with AI anime art, as you might have seen from a few of my most recent posts.

It's the name of a game a friend and myself made with RPGMaker 1 several years ago. ^-^ And I yap about it from time to time on here ever since I joined. A lot of the main characters in it are angels, too.

Well, at last for the first time since leaving Albemarle in March I have applied for work in the North. So far it is in the lab of two different companies near Eden Prairie and Little Canada, MN. One of them concerns oncology research.

I did not do well in the one medically-related analyst job that I had in the past, several years ago when I lived in Shreveport, but perhaps with the lessons I learned from that experience I can carry with me into another, similar environment.

Either way, my ultimate prayer to the Lord is to find a path where I may be at peace, whether in the North, South, Canada itself (and not just a U.S. town called "Little Canada" ), or whether I ever find a Lady Knight to lavish all of the love and affection in my heart upon, or remain alone with many lovely lady friends - especially those who I know here in this very community.

So I'm working on another playthrough of Paper Mario. Yesterday, I came across the scene where the Princess bakes a cake for Gourmet Guy.

Now as the clip shows, the recipe as read by Twink says to add "eggs" to the bowl. So I had Princess add a second one to see what would happen even if the instructions were otherwise followed to the letter. Gourmet Guy didn't like the finished product.

I was curious last night & saw the job I got fired from is open. It’s open a lot. Once in a while I get curious & see.

The description sounds like a typical desk job but it’s fast-paced high intensity customer service. The biggest problem was you have to learn the computer system & procedures in real-time. You don’t learn those first in a slower environment. I’m not sure it would’ve been a good fit for me either way, but no doubt they set up a lot to fail there. I lasted 4 months. I was super-depressed & anxious. Job hunting hadn’t been easy for me. I had struggled for a few years.

A week later I started my current job & have been here 10 years.

I like getting older, I have to say. I've always been fairly confident, but throughout my twenties, anxiety, uncertainty and impatience stifled everything.

Nowadays - now in my 30s, the confidence sits on a foundation of calmness. I'm so patient, calm and measured in everything, that life seems so much easier now. I honestly think that painting and completing artworks in bustling streets in cities like London, New York, Tokyo, etc has instilled it. When you're talking to the general public, you just learn how to stay calm. (Especially when language barriers are a factor.)

I asked for it, He served it. (Calmness, that is.)

I bought another book about the Borden murders on Amazon. It turns out to be six hundred pages long. I sure hope I enjoy reading it because that's gonna be a tough go.
