The honest truth is that I was trying to agree with your post about people lying during wartime, and I remembered that funny story about the milk plant. When I saw your later post I remembered that I had heard years ago that the bombing was sort of a mistake. I had just forgotten. I say it was "sort of" a mistake because it may well have been seen as a legitimate target at the time - as your CIA document notes, the Iraqis were trying to biologically weaponize milk.

Regardless, my true point that people lie during war still stands. I don't see it as important at all, but since you went to the trouble to call me out, and if it really bothers you, I'll delete the post if you want.

At least note stories like this as false in the fine print or something. Otherwise, the falsehood just gets perpetuated.

I don't know that they're "oppressed" but they are controlled. Maybe that's the same thing, I don't know. It's a classic vicious cycle - they lash out with violence, they get more controlled. They get more controlled, they lash out more, and on and on.

Controlled and oppressed are different levels of the same thing.

This video was posted a year ago in the West Bank city of Hebron. The video is by a Palestinian-American journalist along with former IDF soldiers who were posted there.

How hard would it be to get all the Palestinians to leave the Gaza strip? Maybe a large scale exodus like we saw during the Syrian war.

...Because if they were all pushed out, that would solve the problem of Hamas re-emerging in any kind of effective way.

For most people in the world, moving is not easy. If you're a citizen of a poor country, it's also very difficult to get VISA and we're not "visa-free" in many countries. This world collectively oppresses the poor, one way they do it is by restricting global mobility. And adjusting for economics, it's usually not affordable to the poor to move.

Additionally, Palestinians worry if they move out, the Israelis would move in.....

You can see there is a strong motive for Israel to deal with Palestinians with harsh brutality. Because if Palestinians move out, Israel can expand to the vacated territories. Most people are just too naïve to take what the West is saying as the truth. If they say it's out of "deterrence", they don't even bother to investigate possible motives or agendas.

The Arabs are not a bunch of brutes. I have lived and worked with them for some years. They only tend to express their emotions more liberally like Klingons but it's NOT to be interpreted as something evil. If they wish to show compassion and they often do and sometimes even more than Christians! they also express it more liberally, so it even things out. They're not evil, just misunderstood.

Arabs are 100% humans beings as we are..... not just some targets to annihilate.

Many Western countries still support Israel because they only want to keep the pretense they're still Christians countries. But most of their citizens are not anymore. Either deceived with prosperity gospel churches or openly acknowledging they have left the religion.

Okay so even if everything you say is true, what's your alternative? Israel does nothing? Just takes this one on the chin and goes about normal life? Sits around and waits for next years possibly more massive attack from their genocidal neighbors?

The IRA and its offshoots committed many atrocities both In N Ireland and Great Britain. The UK government did not bomb the republican areas of NI or the Republic of Ireland. A measure of peace was achieved by secret dialogue with the IRA and its political wing (Sinn Fein).
