No one on this forum, or in any school, anywhere, has proven that textbooks can be trusted.
What a cop out, you didn't answer my question if Hovind is being honest show me any cosmology textbook which describes the Big Bang as Hovind does.

Congratulations on providing another example of creationists lying about the science.
These days the preferred theory is known as the Hot Big Bang where time and space were not created at the same time but already existed and the universe came into existence in a process involving inflation.
An outline of the Hot Big Bang is given in the following post.

To the Kent Hovind supporters in this thread while this might comes across as an ad hom attack against him, his criminal record doesn't inspire much confidence that his Youtube videos are sources of honesty and accuracy when it comes to critiquing the science.
Surely you can do better than this in elevating an individual.

Kent E. Hovind (or, to use his full former academic title Kent E. Hovind, inmate #06452-017[2]) (1953–) is a young Earth creationist, promoter of imminent millennialism, con man, professional liar, and convicted felon.

In July 2006, Hovind was arrested and charged with 58 tax-related counts.

In early 2007, he was sentenced to a 10-year jail term and ordered to pay restitution, which by May 2013 was "$3.3 million in taxes and penalties".

In 2013, Hovind wrote that "God sent" Alex Matthews "from Washington, DC to live right in my room on the top bunk", and, in Hovind's words, then "helped" with his legal filings.[152] According to a US Department of Justice press release, in 2011 Alexander Otis Matthews pleaded guilty "to fraud charges in connection with mortgage and investment schemes to obtain more than $12 million in fraudulent loans."[153] At his sentencing, Matthews received 10 years in prison, was ordered to forfeit $7.9 million and must pay $5,055,250 in restitution to his victims.

In October 2014, Hovind and Paul Hansen were indicted on six charges by a federal grand jury in Pensacola, Florida for issues concerning the property seized by the government. They were charged with mail fraud, attempt and conspiracy to commit mail fraud and criminal contempt[193] for interfering with the sale of the properties Hovind had been forced to forfeit as a result of the 2006 tax case.[194]

On March 12, 2015, the jury found Hovind and Hansen guilty of contempt of court, Hansen guilty of failing to appear before a Grand Jury, and Hansen not guilty on one count.[200] The jury was hung, reportedly 11 to 1 in favor of finding Hovind guilty of the remaining charges.[201] According to Jonathan Schwartz, "The dissenter who hung the jury, was a militia member who appears to have been in prior contact with Free Kent Hovind supporters."[202] The judge later dismissed Hovind's guilty contempt charge and as the federal prosecutor prepared for retrial, she dismissed the remaining charges without prejudice due to "the defendant’s concerns about the technical sufficiency of the superseding indictment and to be sure that defendants are adequately apprised of the nature of the acquisition against them."[203]

Hovind was arrested on 19th July 2021, due to allegations that he deliberately threw Cindi Lincoln, his estranged wife, onto the ground, injuring her. Lincoln petitioned for protection from Kent Hovind in Conecuh County, Alabama.[223] Lincoln wrote, “He wants to silence me. It depends on public opinion for its vitality [sic.] …. fear he will kill me to silence me.” Lincoln further maintains that Hovind sent his “right-hand man” to threaten her with a gun, and the next day, the right-hand man ransacked her property.[224][225] Hovind must spend 30 days in jail, he must pay for Cindi Lincoln's medical expenses, he must pay a $500 fine, $100 bail bond fee and court costs. Hovind must avoid contact with Lincoln and may not come within 500 yards of her, he will be on probation for a year and must give up all his firearms.[226]

I don't know about the Big Bang, but I do know that when it comes to the geology of the Earth that Hovind spreads a lot of miss-information. In my own experience I've ran into that with the Columbia River Basalts which is something I do know about. The same with the Ice Age floods that ran across the North West 12,000 year ago. I don't know if he really believes the stuff he propagates or not. What I have learned first hand is that he is not to be trusted.

I haven't seen any AIG videos but generally laughter is used to mock the other side.
Ken Hovind engages in mockery and also provides an example of a creationist bending the truth about science to make a point.
In the video the Hovind claims a "professor" explained to him the Big Bang was a small dot that rotated faster and faster before it exploded 20 billion years ago.
This is not a description of the Big Bang, either Hovind made up the story or the "professor" doesn't know what he is talking about.

It’s so fake, though. Same with the men on Creation.com.

He probably made it up. Just Google “Kent Hovind controversy” and one a see what a despicable person he is.

Ditto for Richard Feynman, who spent some time behind bars?

Oh, wait!

He didn't critique science!

Nevermind.

Surely you can do better than this in elevating an individual.

You mean like give someone the title of "Father of ...", name the capital of a major piece of real estate after him, bury him in Westminster Abbey, and put his face on a ten-pound note?

Did you watch the video and see the excellent point he made at the end?

Point he made:

If we don't know where God came from, and you don't know where the primordial atom came from, don't call what I believe "religion" and what you believe "science."

How do you feel about the scientists who told the commoners it was okay to go back home in L'Aquila?

They were crushed after that, and the scientists stood trial (and were convicted) for it.
