Does the church apply the same rational to the wine that is not consumed during the eucharist - It must be drunk by the priest and not just poured away.

By ritual dedication both the rock and the wine are spiritually modified.

By whom? By the rock carver, with a chisel? As opposed to our Lord Himself, by His Word? Hardly equal, wouldn't you agree? The rock was never anything but a carved rock. The wine has become the Blood of Christ, by His Word. You're wanting to attribute some magical power to the rock. There wasn't any, ever.

Rubbish. Cite me a real example of "demonic empowerment", and I'll consider it, but there isn't any such thing in Exodus 7. Satan is a fraud and a liar. His best hold is to get people to believe in his "powers". We see his "powers" in the New Testament- tormenting poor unfortunates, trying to con our Lord into doing his bidding, and generally behaving like the lying sack that he is.

I wouldn't waste all that much time with him Carl.

Some people are on the front lines and some are hiding in their buildings. Some people will have an experienced based Christianity and some will try to live things out in their mind. Some people such as yourself and I will know about this stuff, and some people will be absolutely clueless throughout most of their lives.

The people who are actual doers of the word will rub shoulders with him, the ones who are an actual a threat to him down here, not the ones hiding in their buildings.
